^ Thanks for your answer.  I agree to disagree. Perspective is everything I suppose.

The full discussion on WI Day, with all the panelists participating. A good debate, including the subjects of girls and women's education, girls and women's health in the Third World, and access to sanitary products (which one in six girls in the UK do not have.)

give The dutchies back to the people and one in six girls can have Sanitary products.  or if the duchess really cared she would cut her spending and half for her wardrobe and give that money for Sanitary products but of course that would mean really acting and not just wagging your tongue

^ That's for when Megan thinks she has a Sharon Stone moment but in reality she's having a cellulite in a mini dress moment https://skippyisheretostay.tumblr.com/post/183328613623
Oh, well.  easter-lol Next time, she should uncross and cross her legs like she did in the senior center. Maybe there's some cellulite at the back of her behind she didn't show us with her oh so classy style.

Yes the dress was too short to sit in a chair on raised platform and maybe a bit too short on an official outing.  however, we all ranted about WK short skirts on official outings.  after a zillion years WK learned to wear longer skirts or wear those black tights so they didn't look so short.  haven't even digested all that MM spoke onthat panel.  one thing at a time.

^ The problem is not between education / talent / brains and sexuality. It's about the lack of talent / education/ brains in some,  Embarrassed M, and M weaponizing her sexuality to get to where she wants in life is quite the opposite of feminism.

Feminism is about equality, it's about making it with your own talent, education, work, intellectual and emotional intelligence, not with listing stripper on your acting resume under special skills.

So, the problem is not education vs sexuality. The problem is between having the capacity to make it with education, talents, work or not having that capacity. Women who do not have it try to make it in the world by weaponizing their sexuality. MEagan actively promoting the stalking of a rich guy, impressing him by doing whatever in the secret dungeon, and then getting the dresses and the jewels as a form of non-payment payment is degrading to women. Decent women. Not women like M.

^I'd leave sex workers out of it. Sex workers are in it because they are made tl do it, or have or see no other choice. Opportunists are in it for the benefits. They consciously use sex for gain of power, promotion, free yacht-cations, jewelry.

thumbsup Couldn't have said it better.

Someone on Skippy's blog made a collage with the names of the presenters and what feminist thing they did. All women amounted to something in life except M whose accomplishment is that she married the president of the organization that created the event:

So? There is nothing shameful about sex or nudity, as long as it is out of a person's autonomy.

Not sure why education and sexuality have to be considered as dichotomies.

@Ariel easter-lol

True, but apart from what Ariel has said, which I agree with, there’s also a time and place for sex and nudity, short skirts, unladylike behavior and exhibitionism.   In the end I think we all decide based on our own standards.  I’m no prude, but I have standards like most on here seem to have.

Just different viewpoints too.

^ Tried to edit but just missed the window by a hair. Sorry mods.

Nevermind - it is exactly what I thought it was. It is a character she was playing, on a respected television show. A character.

Does it matter that she was playing a character? She's still sending out the message to aspiring female actors that in order to get a break on television they need to strip off and walk around in their undies.

Of course I think it matters.  It is called acting for a reason. She didnt send any message that one has to play that type of role to be successful, it was a role created by a highly regarded TV program to be played by somebody.

And I dont believe it negates the humanitarian work she did throughout adulthood, or the effort she puts into quality engagements she has done since before she even married in. People are not one-dimensional anyways.

^^It has been discussed at length many times.  Some perceive it as I do, some perceive it as you do.  It is beating a dead horse at this point.

The picture I posted was not from a role she played. Posting it again: https://66.media.tumblr.com/b3dd74faf9f74619f399983a7ea9fda6/tumblr_po4zvzIvL21y3lzado1_540.jpg
With M her on screen character's style coincides with her real life style.

Exhibit A: https://bestofcomicbooks.com/meghan-markle-bikini-pictures/

If you scroll past the first 18 pictures which are from her professional life, you'll see that in her personal life she's into skimpy dresses, red lipsticks and stilettos .. not the class act she's supposed to be. And I wouldn't have had problem with her personal style before marriage if it didn't creep into her royal engagements which are work engagements.

Like this one: https://i.pinimg.com/originals/4e/1f/df/4e1fdff47f53758faad1b28b85f1632a.jpg
And this one: https://static.standard.co.uk/s3fs-public/thumbnails/image/2019/03/08/14/sussexduchess0803-1.jpg

And don't get me started on the overspending someone else's money, tax payer money.

To me, classiness is not about what you wear. And I am able to view sexiness and classiness as concepts that can go well together, not always be separate. I don't see a problem with any of the photos, before or after picture 18. I don't find showing skin, or even nudity, to be shameful.  But to each his own.

Though I do agree for representing the Queen, a dress two inches above the knee technically does not follow protocol.

I think you posted the wrong picture again.  And the one you posted before is from a character she played on TV.

I agree with you. The clothes do not make the person. That's why don't approve of the tens of thousands of dollars she spends on clothing. New clothes will not make Megan a worthy person.

I love that her position was derived from marriage only whilst the other women are at the event because they’ve set up charitable organizations that help women around the world.

Her escort look has no place on the world scene where she’s around kids and vulnerable teenagers. She’s sending a message that it’s ok to dress like she’s going to an event with a client, that being Harry. We teach women to dress like they want to be taken seriously then we look st the mess Meghan is as she sends out the opposite message.
