At least she didn't have on her old scruffy knee boots; but yeah those ankle boots are horrid. Painted on jeggings should be burned.

I really liked her outfit, I usually do.  She looked much more engaged and interested than she has in past engagements with the scouts.  Hair up for outdoors would have been better but still, was a nice engagement.

I wonder how much she will work the next 4 weeks while the kids are out of school. Four weeks is a long spring break.

She should manage to leave the home for a few hours a week. The children have a nanny.

No baby yet, then! Prince Harry arrives with sister-in-law Kate for Anzac Day service at Westminster Abbey after being announced as a surprise late addition ahead of birth of his first child

Prince Harry joins sister-in-law Kate in London to honour sacrifices of Australian and New Zealand forces
His last-minute addition to royal line-up indicates Meghan is showing no signs so far of giving birth soon
Meghan is likely to be at home in the couple's newly renovated Frogmore Cottage in the Windsor Estate
Duke of Cambridge is in New Zealand where he has paid tribute to those who lost their lives in battle

She looks very nice today. I like her whole look except her hat.

Harry's 'naughty' smile and Kate's 'genuine' grin are signs of a close friendship, a body language expert reveals - and is VERY different to the frosty display between the Duke and William at Easter

Kate, 37, and Harry, 34, attended a service at Westminster Abbey together today
Body language expert Judi James commented on animated display between duo
Kate's open-mouthed grin and Harry's naughty smile 'shows genuine friendship'
Said it could prove that any rift doesn't involve Kate and is between the brothers

I haven't read any articles about today's appearance.  Did journalists ask questions of Harry as he walked in and out about the baby?  Did he shout out any remarks to the journalists about the any-minute-now birth?

I can't stand the flirty photos of these two. She always behaved that way with Harry.

^^ Well, Harry behaves no better then. It's not just on her.
In any case, these pics are much better than a set of distance-keeping and non-speaking would be.
These pics also helped the "there's no rift/ the rift is over" narrative.

I had thought those photos were over and done with when harry got married. So sickening to see these two on a joint appearance. And weird. Diana and Andrew never made a joint appearance. Just plain weird.

Kate's answer for troubled children: The Duchess of Cambridge will open a school for youngsters kicked out of mainstream education - and make their parents sit in the same classroom

School is part of the Anna Freud Centre of Excellence for child mental health
The child mental health charity has Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge as its patron
Parents will be asked to watch their child’s troublesome behaviour at the school

Parents are going back to school in a new project for excluded children due to be opened by the Duchess of Cambridge today.

A new school for pupils who have been kicked out of mainstream education will be the first to require all parents to sit in on classes.

It will specialise in children with emotional and behavioural difficulties, which often cause them to play up in class.

Families are asked to witness their child’s troublesome behaviour for themselves and coached on how to deal with it at home.

The Pears Family School will be part of the new Anna Freud Centre of Excellence for child mental health in King’s Cross, London – a charity which has the Duchess of Cambridge as its patron.

Kate is involved as part of her ongoing work with mental health charities.

Not weird at all.

Harry has largely taken over the ANZAC Day services from the Duke of Kent. Due to the nearness of the birth of Baby Sussex they had a back-up plan for Catherine to attend instead. Having announced her appearance she wasn't going to back out once it was clear that Harry could attend.

Just because Diana didn't do appearances with Andrew shouldn't be a reason why Catherine and Harry can't do them together if they want to do so.

The family moves on and evolves. That is how they survive.

I still think it is odd. Why would he even need an "escort," He could have done the solo appearance.

They can survive without Kate being used as "escort" to Harry.
