Struggle to pay for upkeep? Are they TRYING to tick the taxpayer off with that malarkey?

I gather Charles has tightened the purse strings.

They must be fuming that they can't also live in the Cotswolds and mingle with other celebrities.

Maybe she was thrown out of Frogmore for her plans to rip up the floorboards and install a yoga friendly floor structure. Wasn't she allegedly going to do just that in order to end up modernizing it? Perhaps Charles got wind of it and decided to save the architecture from her destructiveness.

Well, the Cotswolds house has served its purpose and it's now being given up. How does the Mirror know all the details of the length of the lease? Has their journalist seen the documentation, easter-lol?

I don't believe the Sussexes intended to be in the Cotswolds for more than about a year, and probably signed a twelve month lease last Spring (perhaps March) before the wedding, in the knowledge that they would have a country home arranged for them after the nuptials by either the Queen or Charles. All the senior royals have a pad in town and a country home.

Frogmore Cottage is probably going to be ready by April and the birth, if the contractors hurry up, easter-lol! (If it isn't, then that points to a London birth for baby Sussex IMO, as with no bolthole they will still be at Nott Cott.)  I personally believe that the couple would have preferred a house on the Tew estate in the Cotswolds to Windsor, but security almost certainly came into it. Frogmore is near to the castle (about six minutes away) on the Windsor estate and is easier to secure.

The point is this..... they get to live free on taxpayers money renovating whatever place they get which is a nice place... She is a liability and doesn't deserve anything from the taxpayers but gets it because she enticed Harry. It is so sad when you think of the poor in England struggling to afford any place to sleep. How this is allowed is beyond me.

Harry was and is a willing participant. Meghan did not 'entice' him, he asked her out on dates and both were free to leave the relationship. He chose to stay. Harry is not an inanimate object, he's a person and chose to be in the relationship.

idk. Yes they had a first possibly blind date. BUT I believe Harry decided it was a one night stand while MEggles decided she would have him regardless of his feelings or lack of feeling for her. She announced to the press via her social media in her 'cutesy' way that they were dating. It was a constant flow of information from her. Harry, meanwhile tried to tell her it was over and she screamed the race card, as she does quite a bit when she doesn't get what she wants. Harry, being a *fool*, felt he had no choice. And here we are.

Harry was a free agent, he said no to other women. Other women who dated him went to the press to no avail. If Harry wanted out, he would be out.  It was his decision to stay with her. I never heard he tried to tell her it was over. SOmeone called Florence went to the media about dating Harry and she was history. Apparently he wanted to be with Meghan.  Harry had a choice and he had a choice when he said goodbye to other women in his life; allegedly an earlier girlfriend gave him an ultimatum and he still ditched her. I think Harry is a typical Windsor and went for an older woman.

Then he needs to pay for her - not the taxpayer. The taxpayer is struggling big time and a foreign climber and social-climber gets to live like Marie Antoinette? No thanks.
