Grand Duchess Marie Pavlovna of Russia (1890-1958) wrote The Education of a Princess and A Princess in Exile. They appeared in 1930 and 1932.

In 1438 King Duarte (Edward) I of Portugal wrote LIVRO DA ENSINAN DE BEM CAVALGAR TODA SELA (The Royal Book of Jousting, Horsemanship, and Knightly Combat).

Prince Wilhelm, Duke of Sodermanland (1884-1965) was a Swedish prince. In 1955 he wrote a book of poetry. It was entitled Verklighetens Skuggbilder (The Shadow Images).

Prince Vladimir Pavlovich (1897-1918) was the son of Grand Duke Paul Alexandrovich of Russia. He published two volumes of poetry (1916 and 1918) and wrote several plays and essays.

Henry Ernest (1716-1778) was Count of Stolberg-Wernigerode from 1771 to 1778. He published some poetry.

In 1839 Napoleon (III) wrote Les Idees napoleoniennes (Napoleonic ideas). He called for a monarchy which procures the advantages of the Republic without the inconveniences.
