^Whst surprised me was how open it was.  You could hear it all.  Nothing quiet or discrete.  Hahaha.

I don't think this had anything to do with C and C PR.  That's too easy an explanation.  I think they saw M carrying on like a good little royal shouldn't - and that's what got them both kicked.  H just happened to be her husband, but Charles body language was saying "get her out of here".

^That would also nicely explain the article that followed about Turkey's royal lessons.

^^Sure looks that way.  If it was all about PC and C image it would’ve been handled much differently.  They know the drill with cameras and media around.

Sparkles behaved, at the end, really haughty and inappropriate.  Didn’t care for the arms all over nor the coy chin to the chest baby girl no sense.  Harry looked his usual bewildered self.  Man oh man he’s a dumbbell.

^Exactly. Charles would have been well aware how many cameras were there. He could have told a flunky to discreetly tell them to leave. It's as if he didn't care who heard him

I couldn’t make it out either. But on the BBC, all it mentioned was that a courtier bowed to Meggles as she was leaving.

Nothing about being asked to leave early. They probably don’t want to rock the boat with the BRF

This is a photo of her being whisked away from BP after Charles told Harry they had to go.  She is furious!!!  Nothing madder than a narcissist when they are denied attention!!!

Whoa, that pic is no joke. Obv very upset at having to leave, its not like her to not look for the camera and wave the left hand with the "precious."

People are just never satisfied. There she is married to a freakin' prince, never having to work anymore or worry about money like the most of us, and she is upset about being asked to leave an event after 30 minutes!  Lips Sealed

Girl, bye!!!  bye

If you look at the video again, it looks like he did tell a flunky to tell Harry to either stop Meghan or to leave. Harry responds to the guy but doesn't move to usher Meghan out. It's after that when an irritated-looking Charles goes directly to Harry and gives him the directive to leave. Camilla observes the entire exchange and that's when the goodbye pleasantries happen to save face.

What is weird is, and we know this about Liz herself, that usually their minders who come with them (staff, ladies in waiting etc) stand nearby and know when to step in, to either shuffle the Winds along, get them away from a nutter, tell them to leave and similar to stick to the schedule, and this is done rather subtly, so the other party doesn't feel pushed away. It has to be smooth sailing. Here we have an abrupt interruption of a conversation and a fairly loud conversation and *boom* the Sussexes sashay away, giving that sexy Sussex strut ick as exit gift ick Anway, was really off. I don't remember seeing anything like this before blink

^^^ Ah but what you don't understand is that this is Princess Sparkles and no one , but no one, tells her what to do. The doors have just clanged shut on the gilded cage

I lidtened again to the video and Harry appears to say something about " I can't...... cameras"  or something like that. Maybe he doesn't want their departure filmed

^Kind of hard not to avoid considering there are reports of several thousand people being at this shindig. Can't have it both ways, Ging.

It was a strange sort of "first appearance as couple." The two should have gone on a honeymoon. I still think Charles is using this as PR promotion for himself and Camilla.

' The narcissist married a prince so that she could swan around in front of cameras.  She doesn't want a stinkin honeymoon out off the public eye.  She wanted the immediate engagements....so funny that Charles gave her the heave ho!!!!

Charles has his image to maintain--as the kindly elder statesman who is open to all religions and cultures (he wants to be Defender of Faith). He would not give her the heave ho. And he's the last person to be judgmental. If he is he's worse than I thought him. After his cultivating the image of the "kind old gentleman" at the wedding he'd would not stupidly mess it up by being mean to his new daughter in law. Charles is not stupid. I saw no sign of his giving her the old heave ho. Unless his old fear of being "upstaged" by his sons and daughters in law has gotten the better of him. CHarles is on thin ice himself and not everybody loves him.

^ Of course he's judgmental, he's all "me me me". He wants to be "Defender of Faiths" (Christian, Jewish, Muslim etc etc), "Defender of Faith" is the olden classic title that's been in action since for ever to this day regarding only the CoE. Oh yeah and Chucky is all about his "non-negotiables", Fawcett and Camz. Charles is all about himself but his jealousy gets still the better of him often, if he weren't still childish and short-sighted he wouldn't collaborate together with Camz with their pet Junor and go on like it's 1992 and the height of the war of the Walses, and the Diana bashing didn't work even then. So yeah he's def all about himself, judgmental but too short sighted, some things simply set him off. Like not being the centre of adoration and that garden party was all about him and his milestone bday after all, so yeah you bet your last pair of knickers he didn't want to be overshadowed, though what exactly set him off to make the SusSexes leave I don't quite know. I wish some paper would do their job and write about it.

No, Charles used "Defender of Faith" (meaning all the faiths) instead of Defender of the Faith. I saw Defender of the Faiths and Defender of Faith used interchangeably.

Charles now has to think of "image" and being a "nice, tolerant old gentleman". HE got a lot of mileage out of meeting Meghan and escorting her down the aisle. He won't jeopardize it now. ANd he's not one to be judgmental about anything.

He also cultivates being the "fun" codger doing things like dancing in Greece (in his Edwardian suit), sampling food and drink, and guffawing and pointing.
