The honeymoon is over already! Meghan Markle makes her first official engagement as Her Royal Highness for Prince Charles's 70th birthday party

Harry and Meghan have chosen 70th birthday garden party for Prince Charles for first married engagement
For the first time Meghan will be addressed as Her Royal Highness and guests will curtsey and call her Ma'am
6,000 people are in the grounds of Buckingham Palace for tea, sandwiches, cake to celebrate with Charles
The royal couple have enjoyed a brief respite from the public eye after two quiet days at Windsor Castle

^Makes me wonder if she wants to start the "is she or isn't she pregnant" chatter-make sure she stays front and center in the media. But that is the cynic in me I guess.

Her posture is very poor isn´t it, and she is far too thin.  Not sure the frock is right for the occasion, but each to their own I suppose.

It's just safe and boring which is what I think was by design.  Don't care for the frayed trim look, so,  bored3

^^Not impressed with the strut sexy stride on the way out.  Inappropriate for the event and attention grabbing.  She really needs to tone down the I'm So Fabulous thing.

^Yeah, you're right.  Nothing subtle or understated about her.  It's such a turnoff, tho.  Sell, sell, sell.

PC is trying too hard, too, here.  That's going to get old real fast.

DM comment

‘I  am sure as a self proclaimed femininist she will not want women curtsying to her. LOL.

The DM surely meant that the surrogate is on maternity leave not Kate Middleton!’

That strut ick thumbsdown

^ Seriously, her chicken legs are scary looking

the fringes on the sleeves are awful.

Overall a boring and safe outfit, it's quite fine. Has a touch of "bridal dress".

Is he smiling through his clenched teeth? He does seem to me to be going overboard. So does McMurky.

^^ and^  Shocked

I know it's hard for Murky to dress herself with off the rack clothing because of her short torso (I know as I have a short torso, too, and it's often brutal) but when she has access to PHs $$$ this shouldn't be a problem. So what gives? Is she still trying much too hard to be the uber attractive sexpot? I don't get it. Perhaps it's just her?
