From that article, "Aged 11 she successfully campaigned for a company to alter their television advert that had used sexist language to sell washing-up liquid"

I will say no more.

She might be calling her smug self the Duchess of Success... by I rather like the excess and exes because, let's face it, that's exactly what she will be plus a reference to her rather looking list of exes... nice play on words, YooperMod thumbsup

Why not cover all bases and call her the Duchess of Excessive Exes?

Yikes! These possible nicknames HAD to have occurred to the palace.  Personally, I think it has a clunky mouthfeel. Perhaps easier to pronounce for Brits?

If you look at the history of the Sussex title, it's very interesting.

The royal family is VERY good at signaling. The 1st Duke of Sussex married twice and BOTH times he married without permission, so his two wives never received the title because the royal family/monarch never approved the match or gave permisson.

PH was given that title, and is the second Duke of Sussex.

Coincidence?

But he was an honourable man and had some intelligence.

^Apparently so.

But he was also a rebel that, according to historians, went against the grain and did what he wanted. Not unlike our PH. The 1st Duke's  marriage history might be an unfortunate coincidence, or it might not.

Or, PH could have been given the title because HM really did only have 3 to choose from, and the alternatives posed even bigger problems than the one that was ultimately picked. We'll never know.  dontknow

Well, the first Duke of Sussex was a very religious man and with his first wife, he didn't consummate the marriage until a few days after the ceremony. To be sure.

Very intelligent, so very unlike Harry.

^^^ Consummating is the only real talent that Meghan ever had, which is why the Duchess of SusSEX is so fitting.  It's clear based on her first two failed marriages that she has nothing else to offer the relationship after the passion part ends and her third marriage to Harry will be no different.  Even he will eventually get tired of her crotch.
