Hi can understand why the aristos wanted their estates to go to one person. (Here it’s always the man). I

t was to keep the estates whole and to keep one descendant, and thereby the family as a W hole, have power (and money) centred in one person. To keep the family powerful as a whole.

But maybe there are tax implications why they don’t want women to inherit quite just now. (Planning for inheritance etc etc)

But technicalities aside, it’s not impossible.

I'm waiting to see where Fergie sits, near the QUeen and Philip? Should be interesting.

I bet Fergie is very excited about this wedding. As mother of the bride she will be one of the most important guests, and they won't be able to keep her out of the reception and after party..

^^ Of course she will be, she's the mother of the bride and should get a prime seat. The Winds are quite capable of putting on a good show and pretending like everything's just dandy.

I think it will be traditional. How bold can a dress be? Eugenie usually wears matronly looking outfits. I'm assuming she'll have a tiara. Maybe she'll do the Floral headpiece like her mother did.

I'm sure Eug will look beautiful. I hope she doesn't wear lace (as I'm over that scratchy material,) and the gown has a well defined waist. It will probably have sleeves as it can be chilly in October. I can see her wearing her mother's tiara, not that it's a very lucky thing to wear, but I think Sarah will want her to.

I wonder if she'll wear the floral headdress going into the wedding and going back down the aisle the tiara being seen. Like her mother did.

Her mother did that though to show she went from a commoner to a royal during the wedding ceremony. Eugenie was born royal.

But Sarah became a bride. As will her daughter after the ceremony. ANd she could still wear flowers like her mother if she so chooses.

No idea.

We may never find out either as it is highly unlikely there will be any more coverage of this wedding than there was of Zara's or Peter's. The odd shot of people arriving and leaving and that will be it, I suspect.

I think there will be much more hype around this one, especially as Eugenie is a real life 'princess' and Kate, Meghan etc (who tend to draw cameras) will be in attendance.
