^Since when is it 1000 miles from LA to NY?  More like 2400 (by air).  3k+ on foot.

Not sure we need PH doing anything for our vets in the US.  Seems presumpuously political and maybe to promote the US/UK marriage.  How ridiculous to think this helps the UK to plunk around in LA.

^ Exactly my thoughts.

^^ I had a look at the comments, and they were brilliant, but this one outshines them all:
""Hello? Kensington Palace here. We're got a spot of a PR problem with Number 2. Sorry? Yes, Tim nice but Dim ha ha. Anyway, we were wondering if you've got anything he can do to make him look matey again. Walking, Talking - not together, bit of a problem there. What's that you say? Across America? Don't suppose there's anything a bit further? Oh well, yes put him down for that. Just him on his own? Good press call at the start? Can he do a bit of concerned waffle at the start? Oh super.... Jolly good."....."

lols laugh

PS Also

"[...] he has refused to join the march/expedition, it's just being done in his name, it's the typical British way get the praise but don't have to do the work."

"He will probably do the first 10 miles for the publicity only."

Prince Harry is handed major role by the Queen as a Commonwealth youth ambassador
Quote
His first engagement will be today, when he attends the CHOGM Youth Round Table and opening session of the Youth Forum.
His role will see him work in the UK as well as undertaking tours of member nations to promote the organisation's values.
Last week he was announced as president of a new Queen's Commonwealth Trust, a youth charity encouraging education, sport, health and the environment.

Prince Harry is crowned Britain's most HANDSOME male royal
Prince Harry has beaten his older brother William to be crowned Britain's most handsome young male royal.

Scientific research pioneered by the ancient Greeks found the face of the groom-to-be to be 81.4 per cent 'accurate.'

Harry's eyes, eyebrows, nose, lips, chin, jaw and facial shape came closest to the Greeks' idea of perfection under the Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi which measures physical perfection.

I have never found Harry attracted and actually I think he's getting worse like all the Windsor's. William was actually very handsome in his early twenties and then something went wrong

Nothing went wrong. When William's hair ran away, those pesky Windsor genes caught up to him.

Thomas Markle risks diplomatic row over Prince Harry's [and Meghan's] political beliefs as he reveals his son-in-law told him to 'give Donald Trump a chance' and that Brexit is an 'experiment we have to try'

Meghan Markle's father gave first TV interview on Good Morning Britain today
He gave an insight into his first conversation with Prince Harry ahead of wedding
Also revealed that Prince Harry told him he is 'open to the experiment of Brexit'

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5855479/Thomas-Markle-says-Prince-Harry-told-Donald-Trump-chance.html

"Harry and Meghan are far too political for the Monarchy. They will have to learn to keep their traps shut, or leave their privileged position. "

"Harry has his guard down with her. He is mesmerised. She is on a mission to "modernise" the RF, (in fact, she is undermining it) and our country. Unlike her, we are not delusional, and do not live in a Disney film fantasy. We don't need her to "rescue" us. She really doesn't understand British culture. They would have been better advised to live private lives."

Would love to hear what is being said behind palace walls (BP, CH, KP).

Prince Harry, Rio Ferdinand and Benedict Cumberbatch are named on list of 50 'progressive' male role models who inspire men to ditch 'old school masculinity'
Princes William and Harry have been named among the best role models for the modern man.
The royals were named alongside actor Benedict Cumberbatch, ex-footballer Rio Ferdinand and BBC presenter Zoe Ball on the 50-strong list by online magazine The Book of Man.
The publication, which counts Professor Green among its columnists, released the list in response to a recent survey of 1,000 men which found they struggled to identify role models who reflected a 'progressive way of looking at the world'.
Prince William, 35, and Prince Harry, 33, were jointly recognised for their work with mental health and veterans charity.
Special note was made of their work with Heads Together, the mental health campaign they co-founded.

All gone down the drain with his "wife" and her constant drama. Harry's seen as a weak mollycollied man who's allowing his z list tarty wife drag him in the depths of the sewer.

^ I truly *despise* those lists, such bs. Cumberbatch lost the plot, Ferdinand cheated on his dead wife countless times (and is now in a rehauled image as widower/ single dad/ grieving (albeit in a new relationship) man; not saying what happened didn't phase him or whatever, but clearly people kinda forgot his cad behaviour and he's now a new kind of "role model", I bet he's going to cheat on his now-gf too), and Harry is just spin as he's been widely popular for years and now the marriage has raised his profile.
Also you're right with your brief but on point assessment Windsor2! tehe
