Meghan Markle wears outfit worth almost £2,000 as she misses Priyanka Chopra’s wedding
She appeared to be wearing a double breasted coat from Canadian brand Mackage.

This item is sold out on the brand’s site but can be bought elsewhere online for £789.95.

Always a fan of high end, international designers, Meghan’s accessories injected a sense of glamour to the look.

She wore the J Box clutch back from Malaysian fashion designer Jimmy Choo.

The black Elaphe clutch bag costs £850 from the designer company.

Beating the cold British chill, Meghan wore a pair of gloves she donned for Princess Eugenie’s wedding in October.

She wore a pair of Prada black leather gloves, an Italian fashion house. They cost £324.

This woman sickens me in that she must've sent a press release as to what she'd be wearing, just like all the other times before. It doesn't matter what the occasion, what she has on and the cost of it is sent to the press.

^ Yes, the Express is Meggle's mouthpiece.  No one could see her outfit.  She was hustled in and out the side entrance.    tehe

She was not invited to that wedding as far as I have heard.

The DM did this stuff about wardrobes before MEghan came along. There was talk about the Kate Effect, the Charlotte Effect, the George Effect etc etc.

She emulates Camilla who one time was so busy looking back at cameras she got separated from the others.

Revealed: The £257 pink cashmere coat and Hugo Boss top Meghan wore for surprise solo visit to King's College London
* The royal donned a  £257 wool and cashmere coat by Canadian label Artizia
* She wore it over a fitted £82 black short sleeved sweater by Hugo Boss
Details of the outfit worn by the Duchess of Sussex yesterday have emerged - some 24 hours after the surprise solo engagement.

Pregnant Meghan, 37, made an unannounced visit to King's College London to join academics for a round table discussion on the value of higher education in tackling global issues.
The mother-to-be, who is expecting her first child with Prince Harry next spring, sported a £82 ($105) short-sleeved knit sweater by Hugo Boss for the engagement.

She teamed the piece with a £257 ($328) pink cashmere coat by Canadian label Aritzia, a go-to brand she has worn on a number of previous occasions.

The royal kept her accessories to a minimum but appeared to be wearing the $70 (£54) 'jamie love ring' from LA-based jeweller Meredith Hahn.

Still found an opportunity to merch. To me, it looked like she crashed the event as it stated she attended unannounced. She seems to be settling up her own agenda to get photo opportunities to merch. She might now resort to crashing Harry’s event today as that was announced a few days ago.

^Definitely marketing that coat.  No true professional wears a coat over their shoulders at a conference table for 10 minutes for any other reason unless the heat was turned off but that’s not the case here with men not in their blazers.  Fake and inappropriate.

^^ How many 5/6 month pregnant women can wear a fitted sweater?     bored3

^  Yes, she was in her Rachel Zane mode for the shot with the coat casually flung over her shoulders.

Wears a fitted sweater when she's 5 months pregnant, but deliberately wears an unbuttoned coat at Eugenie's wedding to stir up speculation. Says it all.

The coat over her shoulders is ridiculous, and she needs to brush her straggly hair.

Why do these royal women not get a good hairstyle? Just parted in the middle and not trimming it.

Meghan's fashion muse: How the Duchess of Sussex has been drawing inspiration from Kate's wardrobe. So will this lead to bickering between the sisters-in-law?
* Staff are said to be 'baffled' at the similarities between women's wardrobes
* Meghan is thought to be struggling to adapt her attire to royal protocol
* Onlookers believed she may be looking to her sister-in-law Kate for guidance
* The royals have sported strikingly similar outfits during public engagements
But palace staff are said to be 'baffled' at the growing similarities between the two women's wardrobes, as it's claimed Kate's staff think the resemblance to her own sartorial style is becoming 'inappropriate'.
They told the newspaper that, while Meghan has always been a 'style icon' in her own right, she is finding it difficult to adjust from showbiz siren to demure duchess.
The Duchess of Cambridge relies on PA Natasha Archer to coordinate her wardrobe, while the Duchess of Susses is thought to be relying on close friend and fashion stylist Jessica Mulroney to help pick her outfits.
'Kate's team are a bit miffed she's going down the same route as her and think it's inappropriate, as they're not as close as they were,' the source added.
The Sun's source also noted that Meghan has started wearing some of Kate's favourite British labels such as Stella McCartney, Burberry and Mulberry.
'Kate has even told Meghan what to wear in the past,' the source said. 'She's not the kind of person to get annoyed that somebody likes what she wears.
'But her team think it's strange there are now so many similarities.'

THe DM Is on a rampage with the Clickbait. Always the unnamed source. It's not as if there are huge dissimilarities in women's fashion. The two are bound to wear similar outfits.

I don't know how often it must be said that sources are usually unnamed. Name a source once and that source won't be a source anymore, it'd be avoided by the circle (for blabbing) and journos (as avoided by the circle, so no use for info anymore) and also it'd be nigh on impossible to find another job as whatever if you blab on previous employers.

A source will only allow to be named when it's about sth positive, is being sent out to deliver a message (a veiled attempt for the main person to speak out without actually speaking out, see e.g. Diana way back in the day) and/ or the source is prepared for the negative onslaught and being cut off and ostracized.

And a journo may never ever name a source if that source doesn't want to be named. If a journo does name a source against their wish, then that journo is done as well. Won't ever be talked to again and is also unemployable (because of breach of trust and because no one will talk to them anymore, so no use).

It's really like that, and that simple.

Unnamed sources when it's about the Midds and/ or Cambs are always believed 100%.

I would say anything unnamed is a shaky source. For instance, "rumors" prove at times to be false and sometimes true. Sometimes subjects of the gossip  do make it known that something is true or false or don't comment at all.

the DM wants click bait. And it's really that way with them. They do this with not just the royals but with politicians and celebrities. And get many comments which helps the DM.

Also, the Cambs are involved in these rumors as well and they don't look great either in the Meghan stories. None of them do IMO.
