Now it does maybe, but what is weird is she looked so good with it long in the Suits days.

^On Suits, her stylists were real pros plus, her hair, makeup, clothing was retouched and checked every minute.

Her hair off her face here is nicer but also a food health necessity.  What bugs me is that stringy part that she tucks behind her ear.  If she'd give up the center part or, please God, really comb her hair, it would look much more polished.

Yesterday she wore something very Kate even the skirt was short. Now the boots that are givenchy are awful and awfully expensive.

The style is not exclusive to Kate. It's something that can be purchased by anybody.

Out-dressing her fellow Duchess! Meghan is named as 2018's third most powerful fashion influencer behind Kylie Jenner and sister Kim Kardashian – while Kate drops OUT of the top 10
* Lyst has released its list of most powerful fashion influencers of 2018
* Kylie Jenner came first, followed by Kim Kardashian, then Meghan Markle
* Kate Middleton dropped from number five in 2017 to number 16 this year
* Fashion search platform anaylsed search patterns following events and posts
The platform has monitored spikes in fashion demand sparked by influencers, taking into account social media mentions, press coverage, global search, and sales response to some of the stars' most talked about outfits - from Kylie Jenner's athleisure wear to Meghan's wedding gown.

True these are all the reality show girls and poor Murks only got third even with all the queen's horses and men, it couldn't get her best dressed again. ( I guess she got some People first placement).

sorry but needed to finish this thought after I looked at the pics and that is why the double post.... All these women looked hideous in their outfits!!! Actually Murks looked the best dressed in the ridiculous group. No wonder Kate fell out of the 10 top. Who are these lists from? Clearly these are jokes that some people take seriously. None of these women dress well.

The only best dressed royal in recent memory was the late Princess Diana. IMO

^^ The list is a joke. The proof is in places n° 1 & 2. No need to look any further at the list than that to realize it's a hideous joke no one can really laugh at. I don't know if that's good or bad for Murky, because n° 1 & 2 sure as heck make Murky look very classy actually. Bad company can look good on the surface. In fact a mud-soaked pig would look classy next to n° 1 & 2.
On the other hand being in that company is no good once you just lightly scratch the surface.

^ I thought of Madeleine as well! Oh yeah Rania! Victoria too, though she has some misses. Letizia as well, and Maxima. Maxima sometimes wears hideous stuff, but always looks gorgeous. Mathilde is quite classy too. But I also have to add that I follow none of these ladies too closely, so I might be missing sth.
I think Salma of Morocco also looks great (at least the handful of times I can recall right now).

She’s no fashion leader or icon.  These things are absurd.  And, if you’re behind a Kardashian, well, think about it.

The person making that list was obviously making a point of comparison.

^ Yes, and also working for M's US PR agency. M tried 2 times already to wear what Kate wears on the day Kate wears it and the comparisons didn't fly favorably in her direction. So, she tries what every desperate wannabe famous does: tries to piggy back on comparisons with famous people. Poor fragile ego. Life must be very hard if even in a comparison with the Kardashians she can't make it to second place. Cool

The outfits are all mediocre. Kate is not the be all and end all.

But light years ahead of Murks. By the way, I know we L.A. people wear lots of black all the time, but pre-royal she didn't wear that much black.

I don't see Kate as  light years ahead of anybody. She dresses in a blah style and has not really changed her hairdo.

I think green blue or dark red should be worn by both of them. Never mind black.

Agreed. Both are not shining brightly with a design or fashion sense. However, Megan is a minx trashy and no amount of price tag can change that. The only time she doesn't look like her signature minx look is where she copy pastes onto herself the clothes of Kennedy or Kate.

Meghan looks best in tailored pants suits or skirt suits.
