He always saying they love whatever he is : visiting, doing, seeing, watching.  He is not unique in these comments.  However, I also believe he commented on both having their noses in books because it is such unfamiliar behavior for both Willie and WK ot do or to see.  I doubt they were ever avid readers.

Charles made many references to William being an avid reader as a child and even enjoying poetry.

I don't think Will is the scholarly type.

William was a very good studant in Eton. He even wore one of its colourful vests/waistcoat that the very good studants were/are allowed to.

I hope Charlotte and George stay on track. It would be nice to have royals who are fluent in multiple languages like in centuries past.

The coloured vests are for the prefects or school leaders not based on academic achievements though.

Harry didn't get to wear one as he wasn't one of the leaders in his final year.

IMO the reason why the Royals do badly at school is a combination of dodgy genes and a sense of entitlement/security which has made them academically lazy. Must be nice to know that, regardless of the grades you get, you're set up for a life of luxury (and, in Charles/Will's case, power). Eugenie was praised for the Royals' 'best ever results' but it was still only AAB. I got A*A*A at A Level!

Do we think George and Charlotte will go to boarding school, or will it be a day school in London? I can see them boarding during the week at Eton/Marlborough and spending weekends at Anmer.

Probaby 3 of them goes to Marlborough. Thomas school is considered a feeder to Marlborough.

^^ Good question. I wonder too where they'll send the kids. If they want to "modernize" and show how "hands-on" they are, then imo boarding schools would be the wrong choice. I can't condone them personally tbh, I find boarding schools horrible and don't understand why they are still so normal in Britain (esp for the upper classes).

I'd also choose co-eds, so not to separate the siblings and who has the will to deal with a couple of schools at the same time when you could deal with only one..

Where is Char going to school anyway? Together with George?

Btw another reason why they do bad at school is because they can't be a*sed and delegate their work to their RPOs and others. They don't even try. And they know they don't need school for their future, whether they want to pursue higher education, a job or whatever else, they don't need good grades. Their name, position and a "donation" to wherever is enough to get them a place. thumbsdown ick

Charlotte goes to Willcocks Nursery School. George is the youngest age for Thomas's Battersea (Reception/age 4-5). We'll see where they send her next year (fall 2019).

thankyou That's what I thought. If they transfer her as soon as she's eligible for G's school, then I'd say we can take that as confirmation they want to keep the kids together at the same school, G's is co-ed anyway, Maud Kent goes there too.

I think they will go to the same school. I think they can attend until they are 13 or so.

The only sticking point will be if Will wants George to have the ‘Eton experience’ but I agree it would make more sense for them to all go to Marlborough.

Oh dear Charles forcing Camilla as the "grandmother." Even though William never mentioned her even as being step grandmother.  PR exercise very obviously. Charles is strange.

^^  Yes, pure PR.  Kensington Palace released this footage.  William is out of the country, so I wonder who made that decision?

Charles gets to "prove" he sees the grandchildren and he is foisting Camilla as the grandmother of Diana's grandchildren. William did not even mention Camilla in reference to his children during his 2017 interview. I guess Charles did not like that.

Eliza was bridesmaid at Kate Middleton and Prince William’s wedding, so they seem to know each other's families fairly well.

I don't think Kate and Will spend much time with Eliza and her family.

I doubt it, either, but there must be some link there for the bridesmaid situation.
