^ Are PH et PW making solo engagements to get the public used to seeing them alone, "single" and doing their "work" so as to make it easier to get rid of the two grifter posers? Perhaps they expect it to help produce less backlash?

All of us - minus a few - whenever we don't have to see the sucubus hanging onto Harry during an engagement like a piece of toilet paper on the bottom of a shoe

Isn't it noteworthy and sad that the words leech, klingon, sucubus can and have been used to describe PW & PH choices for wives and partners

At the very least, they're going the opposite direction of what they went with Kate and are deciding to not push forward a woman that they know isn't going to do anything, and are trying to avoid giving false impressions in the first place.

It seems to me that she's doing the same thing Kate did as a newlywed. THe engagement with the Queen and a tour the first year. Except thankfully there is no "two year grace period" that the QUeen very allegedly gave Kate and the inordinate amount of time it took Kate to "research" her charity selections. I don't see any sign of her being hidden out. ANd it may take ages for Kate to work.

‘I am captain of my soul’: Prince Harry quotes the poem that inspired the name of the Invictus Games – to mark 100 days to go before he and Meghan fly to Sydney for the event
Harry, dressed in an open-necked black shirt and pictured against the backdrop of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, said the final words: 'I am captain of my soul.'

Unfortunately he looks dumb saying this now given the position he’s in. The Canadian games were a disaster in terms of coverage as it was focused away from the vets.

In accordance with the direction of HER MAJESTY THE QUEEN Letters Patent have passed the Great Seal of the Realm, dated the 16th July 2018 granting unto Her Majesty’s Grandson, His Royal Highness Prince Henry Charles Albert David of Wales, K.C.V.O., and the heirs male of his body lawfully begotten the dignities of Baron Kilkeel, Earl of Dumbarton, and Duke of Sussex. Posting of the queen’s official notice of Harry’s title. I didn’t get the two titles before the Sussex one because I thought it’s just a dukedom would be given. Just like everything else attached to this wedding as a title’s usually bestowed upon marriage, doesn’t make sense or add up.  dontknow

Harry did get his Dukedom from the Queen on his wedding day. All Royal Dukes get an English dukedom, a Scottish earldom and a barony of Northern Ireland, and that's what he got in May. There have been past exceptions, but that is the usual form.

William got his Dukedom etc on his wedding day and that was Gazetted, as it's called, a month or so later. This is the notice of Harry's dukedom being Gazetted, ie formal notification that of what been granted to him by HM. There's nothing unusual about this. It's what happens.

It is normal for a royal prince to be given three titles: dukedom, earldom and barony.

Philip - Duke of Edinburgh, Earl of Merioneth and Baron Greenwich
William - Duke of Cambridge, Earl of Strathearn and Baron Carrickfergus
Andrew - Duke of York, Earl of Inverness and Baron Killyleagh
Richard - Duke of Gloucester, Earl of Ulster and Baron Culloden
Edward - Duke of Kent, Earl of St Andrews and Baron Downpatrick

Harry follows this same system: Duke of Sussex, Earl Dumbarton and Baron Kilkeel

The Earl of Wessex is the exception but that is because he is expected to add Duke of Edinburgh to his titles and then he will have a dukedom, an earldom and a viscountcy.

It is also normal for the gazette to list them in ascending order of rank - as done in this case - baron, earl and duke.

The palace announced these titles on Harry's wedding day but it has taken them two months to officially gazette the title. It took about a month with William's  - Queen announced it on 29th April and it was gazetted on 26th May: In accordance with the direction of Her Majesty The Queen Letters Patent have passed the Great Seal of the Realm, dated 26 May 2011 granting unto Her Majesty’s Grandson, His Royal Highness Prince William Arthur Philip Louis of Wales, K.G., and the heirs male of his body lawfully begotten the dignities of Baron Carrickfergus, Earl of Strathearn, and Duke of Cambridge.

Prince Harry to tackle knife crime in next project
Hannah Furness, Royal Correspondent

The Duke of Sussex is to turn his sights on tackling knife crime, pledging to work on the “root causes” behind “sky-rocketing” violence.

The Duke, who already has a project aimed at tackling violence and gangs specifically in Nottingham, is expected to launch a new scheme specifically combating knife crime later this year.

Staff at the Royal Foundation, the charity of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Duke and Duchess of Sussex, have been tasked with speaking to young people to identify the key causes, reporting back to Prince Harry.

The foundation’s annual report states that 2018 will see the Duke focus on knife crime while the Duchess, who became the charity’s fourth patron after her wedding in May, has “lots of ideas she would like to pursue, particularly around female empowerment”.

The project will come at a time of deep concern about knife violence, with a series of stabbings in London leading to claims of an “epidemic”.

The Office for National Statistics identified 40,147 offences “involving a knife or sharp instrument” in the year ending March 2018, a 16 per cent increase from the previous year and the highest level since comparable records began in 2011.

Speaking at the Royal Foundation Forum with Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Duchess of Sussex earlier this year, Prince Harry said youth violence in the UK was a “classic example” of their approach.
“At the back end of last year, knife crime skyrocketed,” he said. “I spoke to some of the people at the Royal Foundation and said right, knife crime, let’s look into it.

“But in reality knife crime is a symptom of a cause.

“So therefore go and speak to the young people, which is what we’re doing. Speak to those communities and listen to what they think the problems are and then rewind it all the way back to go what is the root cause of all of this.”

^ This really needs to be looked at. I'm not aware of any other European (or otherwise developed country) having such problems with knife crime and acid attacks. And it's not just hitting certain people or situations, it can be random at strangers, or targeted in revenge, or gang crime, mistaken identity, any and all reasons you can think of plus doing it to people for the fun of it.
It's dead serious and in cities like London it's at its worst. Very scary. And it happens in good parts too, like Kensington, Hampstead, Westminster etc.
One random acid attack happened in Kensington Gardens, a schoolboy was the victim and he was apparently chosen at random (such fun!).
Scary as f.

Everyone's making fun of the US and pressuring the US because of gun crime, but the equivalent to that is in England (and yeah it's pretty much contained to England and happens rarely as far as I know in the other British countries) knife crime and acid attacks. England has no time lecturing the US when there's a very similar and equally grave problem at home.

^^ Acid attacks are not widespread but the knife attacks are not uncommon with the new immigrants in EU. These are people who come from parts of the world where the law is (the sharia law): if you have a disagreement with someone or you don't like something, feel that something or someone was unjust to you - you "resolve" the conflict with a knife fight.

^ Acid attacks are not as widespread as knife crime, but still happen on a nearly daily basis. The latest victim I know of is a 3 year old boy. The mother was the target (revenge as motif apparently) but the attacker accidentally threw the acid at the boy. They were in a shop at the time.
^ & ^^ Yeah, the attackers certainly seem to come predominantly from one type of demographic. "Sharia law" nails it pretty well. Other European countries suffer from problems due to these immigrants as well, but have fewer to no problems with knife & acid. Knife & acid were big problems before the huge waves of immigrants hit a few years ago, but crime's come to a peak for sure since.
Attackers can be others too, like that white z-list celeb from some reality show last year who threw acid at a whole crowd in a club randomly for the giggles, or also many people not belonging to the sharia demo being victims (& attackers!), I esp for some reason remember a white middle aged man being knifed down in the Hampstead Heath area a couple of years ago, for no apparent reason... That was a huge shock at the time, esp as the area was deemed as pretty safe.

If Billy boy manages to make even a dent, then that'll be a job well done.. This is a serious and hard task and making any type of difference at all will be a success.

royal estate: Prince Harry's 552bhp Audi RS6 Avant with twin-turbo V8 engine could be yours for £72k
Married life might have pushed Prince Harry to rethink what sort of car he wants to drive, as his high-powered Audi has appeared for sale in the UK just two months after the Royal Wedding, This is Money can reveal.

The high-performance estate car - which has a twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine under the bonnet that produces 552bhp - was used by Harry during his blossoming romance to the US actress, with the vehicle first being registered in April 2017 and having just one regal owner on its records.

It's being sold by high-end car dealer Overton Prestige in Derby for £71,900, having covered fewer than 4,500 miles during its royal duties.

I would *despise* to drive in that car. I would be afraid I would catch some kind of nasty disease.
