^^I believe that.  There’s a sudden silent firm hand in charge with perception.  Doesn’t change a dang thing in reality but helps their sense of their control and image.  It’s quite obvious and tiresome.

^^^^ Yes the Clooneys are as grasping as the Midds, Murkles and Beckhams. They are well disliked for their pretentious airs and champagne socialism & liberalism, "do as I say, not as I do". Clooney is said to have political aspirations and ridiculous Amal was a "better" choice for his wished career than "wrestler" Stacey.
Anyway, the Clooneys fit well in.

Someone asked somewhere here today or yesterday about who's invited to the reception. Sorry I forgot who and where, can't quite keep up, but anyway, the invitations are a mixed bunch, church & reception (no sitting down lunch!) and then the evening thing. It's been reported that the evening thing is for "new friends" or some such bs, you can find the headline in my posting history or if not I'll look for it and repost, but anyway, translation: Murkles is dropping her "old friends" and old life like a hot potato and like she's been doing all her life, she invited her cast mates etc to the wedding but not evening.
Evening will be for only her new friends (aristos and H's circle) as she's now dropping her old friends too as she's dropping her old life, so her Suits "friends" are invited to the church only. By all accounts and what's been speculated and leaked so far, it looks very much like in the evening it'll be 200 - 300 people and it's going to be about 95% Windsor side/ associates. Rumour has it not even Pippa & James have evening invitations, which shows what a grasping nasty tw*t Murkles is.

These weddings are so huge and weird, in some cases some are invited to the church only, some reception straight after only, some evening only, some to 2 of the 3 and few to all 3. dontknow

^^^ & ^ The wheels in reporting have changed a touch today. Def more positive. ick

NEVER *despise* correction, for those who correct you ,truly LOVE you .They are willing to displease you and possibly lose your friendship ,rather than see you destroyed. Those who *despise* you ,on the other hand ,will allow you to FAIL...because what do they care ?

^ It says in the order of service that Thomas will walk her down the aisle easter-lol p 10

PS The vows they say to each other they say with their "nicknames" of "Meghan" and "Harry" and not full names huh Why?

PPS Harry will apparently wear a ring, it's in the vows even. Unlike Bill who did protest a lot.

^ Same.

Yes def too costly and too late. Bs claims Doria "refused to take Thomas's place to walk her down the aisle", firstly what mother would deny and secondly she did it before in Jamaica. Chuck "came to the rescue". Such bs.

I remain confused though that they won't apparently address each other with their full names but chosen nicknames and (pleasantly) surprised that Harry'll wear a wedding ring, even given during the vows as everyone does it and not slip it on himself in the backroom when signing the registry like the very old fashioned aristos (and Winds) do, or even flat out refuse to wear one, like Bill. I like that. Good decision on H's part, but kinda shows how infatuated he is, his brother was the polar opposite. Stomped his hoof and neighed with all his might before his wedding back then easter-lol

Typical DM Comment and so many scathing about the wedding

‘It's taken a long time for the scales to fall from my eyes about the RF, especially as I am/are of a generation that was taught to respect the Monarchy.  But I now realise more than ever with   this wedding that the RF are just part of dictatorship which hides its power, control, greed, wealth, venality and depravity under the collective cloak of tradition, history and ancient rituals, aided and abetted by a citizenry which prefers the status-quo to revolution.  We criticise Russia and China for their hold of their peoples, but we are no better and are controlled by a seemingly more benign power’

^^I’m with you.  She never wanted her father there.

^^^^I’ll try to remember to add it to wedding thread, but Alex is better.  Alex?  It’s unlikely that I will be up.

Not the most inspired music selections.

#harryandmeghan will promise to love, comfort, honour and protect one another – but not obey. The hymn, Guide Me, O Thy Great Redeemer, which was played at the funeral of Harry’s late mother, Princess Diana, will also be sung.

Prince Harry and Meghan 'in floods of tears' during wedding rehearsal over her father Thomas Markle not being able to be there for their big day
Quote
Meghan and Harry were in floods of tears during their wedding rehearsal this week, after her father Thomas Markle confirmed he is unable to travel for the big day.
A courtier has revealed the pair welled up during the service after her father decided to miss the wedding to concentrate on his health.
Best man and Harry's elder brother Prince William is also said to have shed tears during the wedding run through as St George's Chapel in Windsor on Thursday.

Team of florists getting the church wedding ready with stunning floral arrangements (including a costly leafy archway)

Meghan Markle will glide under a stunning canopy of snow-white flowers as Prince Charles walks her down the aisle to her waiting husband tomorrow.

A team of florists were last night applying the finishing touches to an mesmerizing floral arch outside St George's Chapel in Windsor.

Pictures show workers busily scrambling up ladders as they tend to the arch, while colleagues dart to and from between huge boxes of flowers.

Tomorrow, Meghan will be welcomed into the Royal Family surrounded by white garden roses, peonies and foxgloves, with branches of beech, birch and hornbeam.

A song that was played at his dead mother’s funeral? Creepy.

I love Ben E. King’s Stand By Me and This Little Light of Mine is cute to sing with children but I think they’re completely out of place and unnecessary in a wedding.
