^^  'Ship in full sail....'  that's it!  I like the dress, but not so much on her, and that sums it up for me.  There is just so much material and she doesn't have the presence to carry it off. IMHO

La wiglet

What struck out the most to me, was the video on Twitter when Ingrid-Alexandra was doing a little tour of the park and its sculptures outside the palace in Oslo, all the people behind the barrier, whilst the Cambs and Glücksburgs walked around "normally", all the people chatting, calling, having their phones out taking pics and videos, and my goodness how awful that looked, as if it were at a zoo and the Cambs & the Glücks are the attraction in the cage... nervous

Seeing things like that make me always wonder how mad someone must be chasing to marry into such families, namely "royals", where the horse & pony show never ever ends.. No thanks! ick nervous

^ easter-lol very true

Does Kate have to be sewn into her coats or why does she not take them off, even in private apartments/ houses? When literally everyone else took theirs off?

imo one of her best "evening" looks. I don't like the embroidery, I don't know, sth more "delicate" would be nicer, but that's nit-picking.

Mette & Haakon

Sonja seems to be a fan of ruffles, I don't particularly like them, but I'll cut this lovely lady tons of slack easter-egg-basket

https://media.gettyimages.com/photos/prince-william-duke-of-cambridge-is-escorted-into-dinner-by-queen-of-picture-id913112296

PS By looking at these pics I just realized that we don't see the dress, because the embroidered bit is the cape! Would like to see the dress without the cape. Unless I got that wrong by looking at the pics, anyway, still like this one a lot.

PPS Also interesting that none of these events have been "tiara events" and K only wore a tiara a handful of times at Buck P receptions... If this had been a Scandi only visit (eg the Bernadotte's at the Glücksburg's) or perhaps Scandi/ Spain / or anywhere else, then this evening would have been a tiara reception.. In Sweden Vic & Dan were officially the hosts, so fine no tiara even there, but here it's Sonja & Harald, or not?
Is the bra attached to her belly? I don't understand her mid section/stomach and breast positioning. It seems weird and fake .... blink  Maybe it's just me....? Anyone can explain? I am a woman.

Kate's inspiration for the McQueen gown for the Norwegian dinner?

Wow that was the most underwhelming trip they have taken.  Very little coverage.  Nothing of substance (even by their standards) Did I miss a lot of the press coverage?  Did the UK get enough out of this trip to cover the costs of her many coats and ugly dresses?

This was just a vacation; energy for that, but not day to day duties.

I find it amazing that the royals are not subject to the same kinds of scrutiny as politicians when it comes to flying abroad on 'official visits'. This was nothing more than a glorified holiday and at this stage it feels like all they need to do to get a vacation is to say 'we want to visit X country', plan some fun engagements, and bam - vacation in disguise!
