Not surprising when he was said to have been mentioned in Diana's 'dossier' of evidence against the RF which she used as leverage and was said to have contributed to her being killed.  PC and
Fawcett 'the fence' were alleged to have been far more than employer and employee.

The guy who had to quit in '03 only to be rehired in a 'freelance' way again three days later?
The guy who knows where the bodies are? (mainly because he helped hide them)
The guy who tucks PC in at night and helps him dress and shower in the morning?

Yeah I do think he might have a tiny bit of influence later on bored3  wellduh
