As Kate is a skeleton herself everybody will be able to compare the two, won't they? She'll probably rattle on about how George and Char love whales and have a toy blue whale and everyone will be so entertained by her wit. According to the DM, anyway.

And they call that an engagement?   Really?  The rf really are sinking low aren´t they if they call that an engagement, they appear to be trying to dredge up stupid "engagements" for council cath and the public can see right through it.  Maybe Ben Ainslie will be there, now that would have council cath sprinting along wouldn´t ot.  easter-bunny

Kate's 'kob' steals the show: Duchess of Cambridge shows off her glossy hairstyle at the Natural History Museum as Sir David Attenborough unveils its new blue whale skeleton

Duchess of Cambridge flaunted her glossy 'kob' hairstyle which is noticeably shorter than her earlier looks
Kate, 35, unveiled the Natural History Museum's latest blue whale attraction during a gala reception
She is a patron of the museum and joined famous naturalist Sir David Attenborough at tonight's event
The 25-metre long skeleton suspended from the ceiling in the revamped Hintze Hall by the main entrance

Everything about Kate screams "I am insecure, uncomfortable in my role, and I don't belong here".

^ ^The only thing I can think of that's a kob (cob) is a particular round loaf of bread in Britain that has an extra piece of bread added on the top. I don't get the reference really. Unless the journo is being sarky about Kate's head! So the skeleton went around looking at skeletons. Very appropriate! Poor Sir David Attenborough.

^ easter-lol I swear I wanted to write "the skeleton vists other skeletons"!!!! Didn't want to seem cruel, but good to see others thinking the same  laugh great minds and all that easter-egg-basket

I just did a quick superficial google search of "kob hairstyle" and basically the pics that appeared are 1960s style hairstyles, with the beehive or what it's called (I forgot). Fits with the bread thing when you think about it. Was that a snarky reference then to Kate's extensions & wiglets? Certainly seems like not hidden snark!

^^ I though the same and I think the banquet drove that home again. She looked beyond smug and no wonder scoring Di's earrings and the tiara, for once she even seemed animated when she walked in the procession to the banquet, but once she reached the dining table it was over... And today she's back to old form or cotch clasping, gurning, hair all over the place and showing the ring...  dontknow

Good to see this was a more significant event than it originally sounded.

She looks good with more weight on her.  Her arms are bigger and her face and torso are fuller.  And her hair is so much better shorter.

But her posture makes me cringe  sly

Her shoes are just horrendous and should never be worn with such ugly bent scrunched up toes.

^ I see in the DM and in other forums people raving about her shoes.  I don't like them at all!  The rick rack straps throw me off.
So it took a visit from Letizia for Kate to try something new fashion-wise?  Please.  Too little, too late, Kate!
