BREAKING: Crown Princess Mette-Marit has been diagnosed with chronic pulmonary fibrosis.

I have been struggling with health challenges for a few years now. In recent years, the plagues have been more pronounced. This means that we have now been through a rather long process to find out more about what it is and now we begin to get some answers says Mette-Marit to NRK
"It turns out that it is more chronic than we had hoped for, but it also means that a little more pieces fall into place, so it's also a very big relief for me," says Mette-Marit to NRK.
Professor Bjøro, the crown princess's doctor, says:
- Lung fibrosis is a condition where the normal lung tissue is replaced by connective tissue. Then it's a somewhat unusual type we have her.
