As Lady Diana enters the Cathedral, you can see the sparkling of the Spencer Tiara.

Why canĀ“t the press just leave the woman alone. She has been dead nearly 20 years and still she gets "resurrected" regularly.  Let her rest in peace for goodness sake, keep dredging these things up.  We were told about the headache the tiara gave her at the time, why are they dredging it up now.  I was a huge Dinana fan, despite her failings and foibles. but to see all this rubbish coming up again is so unnecessary.  Bad enough bill medd using the Diana get out of jail card, even though it wore out and disintegrated at least 6 years ago.  He lost that the day he we council cath.  Hardly earth shattering, was the DM having a slow day?

^ Agree. Unfortunately the press use her because people are interested in her and make a profit out of her name and stories. People who were near Diana do the same and it is so shocking.

This will be the 20th anniversary of Diana's death.  Charles would like nothing better than for everyone to forget all about her. They won't.  We cannot disturb her, she is resting in peace.  She is also an historical figure, we talk about Queen Victoria too.  I  personally don't think people would remember her so passionately if the royal family had done the right thing by her at the time of her death.  A statue and some words from Charles would have gone a long way,  neither was done.  Even the inquest into her death took over a decade .  sob  Then he married the mistress who caused Diana so much grief - British people have long memories.
