He could use a few more brain cells, too.  Man, he’s either dumb as a rock to get played like this or beyond naive.

^true, so now it's Harry's turn to be marginalized by the Windsor's as Charles and Wills are supposed to be more in demand and popular than him. As I said, look at how far Harry's popularity and "star" power has dropped since the first IG to now that he's associated with SoHo House Hollywood trash MM. look at how Wills is out and about in the U.K. looking more stately as Harry's looking less so and as people keep fretting that he's associating with the Obama's are more political than just friends supporting each other. Harry's on a slippery Sloan whereas Wills seems to be ridding a smoother path.
This bs though should come to an end by next weekend; Rememberance Day because it should only be about the military service men/women being honored and not about the Windsor's and the rubbish people they associate with.

I would not say Charles is more popular and in demand than Harry--or William. I don't think Harry can be marginalized for 25 years unless Charles decides to recruit the York sisters. Charles is not getting any younger, Camilla pulled some ugly faces on their tour today because the work was exhausting to her (all that sampling of food) William and Kate are lazy (she may want another child after this one), so how can Harry be marginalized? George and Charlotte won't do royal work for years and years.

I don't see Harry's popularity dropping. Meghan is expected to work if she marries Harry.

IF he marries Megs (which i hope he does not), she would be smart to hit the ground running and show up Waity. At least that's what I would do.  thumbsup

I hope she shows up Kate and does not have to sail on excuses the way Kate does.

If he marries her, he would be marrying someone who craves the spotlight. She'll be at every engagement they let her attend and then some, especially if it involves a new outfit.

Where are the press articles criticising Harry for 'ordering MPs' to see him at KP as happens when the CC lists the same things happening by Charles or William. (It is normal practice and has been happening for centuries where the senior royals talk to MPs about things that they are interested in but when Charles or William do it they have 'ordered' the MP to visit but it seems that nothing will be said about Harry.

I think Harry does so well at these type of events. He maintains gravitas when he has to, then afterwards greets vets and other attendees young and old with great ease, chatting and joking. Looks good in the uniform and he has clipped his beard!

Indeed he does. However his engagement wasn't getting much attention as it was way down the page and had few comments. When the headline changed to his joking with one of the vets about MM, then the article started to get more comments. What's a shame about Harry is that he has to be in some sort of scandal or controversy to get attention from the press and the public. It's getting old.  eating cookies

^ It was Richard Palmer who said something like that. He's inferred over the last few years that things the younger royals do over and over, even the IG and annual events, cease to be newsworthy. William gets little coverage either on most of his solo engagements. It's only if something interesting happens or is said, that, according to Richard, editors consider a long article.

Harry used to be a lot more hands on in engagements so there was more likelihood of something unusual happening. In Kate's engagements at least reporters can write about her clothes, shoes, hair etc. They can't do that with males. Hence the media want Harry to get engaged/married;  lots of stories to be had, engagement interview, wedding, more clothes, shoes, rivalry with Kate hinted at for his wife.

Even so, there were lots of photos of the ceremony in the Fail, and clips of Harry speaking to people and the bulldog etc.

True, only as long as the woman will bring drama. CB did with her constant pr because she wanted to jump start her acting career and we know that the very unsuitable MM is doing that and using him to get money for product placement. The press would love for her to stay attached to Harry because every engagement will be overshadowed by her with the press salivating at what crass thing they can report about her next. It's a very bad that the press feel that him doing the same engagements every year's too boring for them to cover. They lose focus that it's about the participants like the vets at the IG.
