^^My father used to tell my sister and I if we dressed like tarts we'd ll likely be treated like tarts. Yet we are expected to curtsey to her and treat her like our superior.

This is interesting reading ...there were rumours  at the time that he didn't want to go through with it and Harry and someone else had to talk him out of calling it off at the altar. I find it interesting that Duncan Larcombe has said as much as he has because he is risking his access to the RF. It's code talk.

Kate gets her first gong... from island sinking into the Pacific: Duchess of Cambridge receives award from Tuvalu for raising climate change awareness
Quote
The Duchess received her gong from the island nation of Tuvalu last week for raising awareness of climate change and to mark a joyous visit she and Prince William made to the isolated South Pacific atoll in 2012.

The only things Waity has raised are eyebrows and blood pressures at her idiotic behavior.

She raised so much awareness, that I didn't have the foggiest about this plight  wopedo
So now this will be worn when there should be a family order or other order? Or will it never be worn? Except along with military uniforms, which she never wears?

I do wonder why they gave her this "honour", wasn't it said that it was basically made up for her?

It wasn't made up for her and William. They created a new system of honours across the country last year (2016) and decided that they would award William and Kate the highest award as recognition for their visit there in 2012. The Tuvalu government simply re-did their honours system rather than create a new award for Kate.

In the 1970s-1980s Australia created a new system of honours but no one ever claimed it was done to give an award to someone such as Charles. The outcry was when the knighthood was awarded to Philip a few years ago having been abolished in the mid-80s and now we have about 4 new knights.

^^ Hahahaha.    And apparently it was for her awareness-raising of climate change.   When has she uttered a word about climate change, ever?

The only awards that woman should be given are made either of chocolate or base metal - the latter being most apt.

Guess what I wrote a comment about Kate getting the medal. And the DM removed it because of a "number of complaints."

The sugars must be on there complaining and think Kate fully deserves that medal to help the environment. Go figure.

EXCLUSIVE Crowning A Fashion Queen! Anna Wintour Wants Kate Middleton For September Issue Of ‘Vogue’
By Jen Heger - Assistant Managing Editor
Posted on Feb 24, 2015 @ 4:13AM

Article: http://radaronline.com/exclusives/2015/02/anna-wintour-kate-middleton-september-vogue/

Even though New York City is still trapped in the middle of a brutal winter, at the Vogue offices, planning for the infamous September issue is already under way. Who will be the lucky cover girl? RadarOnline.com can reveal that Anna Wintour hopes the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, will agree to appear in the coveted issue — and she’s using all of her connections to convince Prince William’s wife to say yes!

“Anna knows landing Kate for the September issue would be a huge coup, especially since Prince William’s wife has never done a magazine feature for a U.S. Publication,” a Vogue insider told Radar. “The focus of Kate’s feature would be her numerous charity endeavors, which Anna has conveyed to Kate’s staff.”

“In the digital age, there is even more pressure to deliver huge sales numbers,” the source said, and a Middleton cover could be just the trick.

What’s more, “Since Anna is British, she feels a kinship with Kate, and has promised she would have full control over the accompanying photo shoot,” the insider revealed. “Kate could choose the photographer, journalist, and location for the piece.”

“Anna has been trying for the last two years to get Kate to agree and she’s always refused,” said the source. “But this time, Anna has stepped up the campaign, and is now enlisting her numerous high powered connections.”

“Having Kate on the cover could silence all of the critics who were up in arms after Kim and Kanye appeared on the cover. Anna was very well aware that putting a reality star on the cover would alienate some diehard Vogue readers,” the insider added.

Indeed, it was a shocking decision for Wintour to put the controversial rapper and sex tape star on the the April cover last year. Ultimately, the issue was a bust, selling fewer than 300,000 copies and sparking widespread criticism.

Actress Sarah Michelle Gellar was so disgusted by the decision, she claimed she was canceling her Vogue subscription.

“Well……I guess I’m canceling my Vogue subscription. Who is with me???” the actress tweeted after the magazine went on sale.

That got a snide retweet from Kardashian’s best pal, Jonathan Cheban, who wrote “Do u matter?” to his 519,000 followers.

Wintour conceded to the pressure of selling magazines, and admitted “I think if we just remain deeply tasteful and put deeply tasteful people on the cover, it would be a rather boring magazine.”

Meanwhile, The Devil Wears Prada inspiration hopes to have tea with Kate “in the next few months when Anna is in London. She isn’t used to being told no and is determined to get Kate to agree,” the source added.

So.. pressure to sell magazines and having huge sales numbers, and Wintour's money is on Waity? I think Wintour hasn't done her homework, because if she did, she'd know that sales usually plummet when Waity is on any cover.  bored3
