I have always heard stories  about the Duke of Windsor being  friendly towards the Nazi Germany and him bad mouthing the UK  .. But today I came across this article below about Princess Harald of Denmark ( nee Princess Helena of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Gl├╝cksburg), how she would entertain the Nazi during their occupation of Denmark and smile at the planes flying over . Very interesting read

Question: Who were the other royals who were friendly towards   the Nazi's during WWII?

^ Princess Harald was an absolute disgrace during the war and was virtually ignored by the rest of the Danish Royal family who were very patriotic, especially the King.

Gustav V of Sweden had a very pro-German bias which was well-known, always urging the transportation of German arms and troops across Sweden to Finland from Norway etc during the war, in spite of Sweden's strict neutrality. He wasn't happy when his daughter Crown Princess Martha of Norway sought sanctuary in Sweden after Norway was invaded. The King of Norway and the Crown Prince managed to escape to England but the old King wanted Martha to go back to Norway and place her young son on the throne as a puppet King. She vehemently refused and soon left for Canada and the US.

Gustav V's son, the Crown Prince of Sweden was pro-British (he'd married twice to English women) but his eldest son Gustav Adolf, the father of the present King, made himself very unpopular with Swedes before the war, as he and his wife were always attending Swedish-German Friendship events. His wife was Princess Sibylla. She was the daughter of Charles Edward, Prince of Saxe Coburg and Gotha. He was a grandson of Queen Victoria and pro-Nazi.
