Princess Diana remained meticulous in her public duties. Would you say she was fanatically punctual?

Fanatic is the not the word I would use.  She was thoughtful and made a point of being on time.  The Queen Mother was consistently late for appointments.

Being punctual is a sign of respect. Being late gives the appearance that one doesn't care.

There is a story I came across in a documentary from a person who was part of orchestrating her wedding to Charles. According to the person, Diana wanted to be fashionably late to her wedding, but the workers had worked very hard to time every activity so it would all run like clockwork. So they had to try to make her think that they were arriving a bit late while still arriving basically on time. shifty But that is the only story I've ever heard about her punctuality.
