Maybe Eugenie and Jack will have a boy in a year or two.

Definitely lots of girls in this generation.

Very happy news for the Tindalls!   flower  Mia now has a baby sister and I'm betting they'll be very close.  Hope all are well, happy and healthy.  This makes 5 granddaughters for Princess Anne.  Lot's of girl power in that family!!

4 granddaughters - Savannah, Isla, Mia and the new baby.

The Queen has an additional three great-grandchildren - George, Charlotte and Louis.

I am so glad that Louis was a boy and not a girl as George really does need some boys in his generation in the family and he and Louis are definitely outnumbered 5 - 2.

Thanks for the correction meememe.   I don't know how I found an extra child for Peter and Autumn!

It was posted in the Just Pics section of DM, but Zara & Mike have named their second daughter Lena Elizabeth. What a lovely name. flirt

Yes, pronounced Lay-ner. (There's been a bit of a debate going on apparently as to how to say the name!) I think it goes well with Elizabeth and Tindall. And Mia, very short and snappy. Hope we see the family of four soon.

Lay-ner? There's no r in Lena... Isn't it pronounced Lay-nuh? Maybe it just sounds like "Lay-ner Elizabeth" when some British accents say the two names together. Like calling Camilla "Camillar" if the following word begins with a vowel sound.  dontknow

Emily Nash

@emynash
 They chose Lena - pronounced Lay-na - because "It is just a name they liked," says their spokeswoman #royalbaby

^ and ^^Thank you for clarifying that.  I struggled with the "Laynar" thing a bit.
