NEVER *despise* correction, for those who correct you ,truly LOVE you .They are willing to displease you and possibly lose your friendship ,rather than see you destroyed. Those who *despise* you ,on the other hand ,will allow you to FAIL...because what do they care ?

Prince William signals support for Britain staying in the EU as David Cameron holds last-ditch Brussels talks - live
Duke of Cambridge says tackling ‘big questions’ facing world is ‘predicated on your commitment to working in partnership with others’

The Duke of Cambridge appears to have signalled his support for the In campaign in a speech at the Foreign Office today.
The Duke, who was presenting awards to members of the Foreign Office's Diplomatic Academy, reminded his audience that Britain has always been "outward looking" with a "long and proud tradition of seeking out allies".

Prince William risks being accused of wading in on the EU reform package debate

THE Duke of Cambridge risked controversy by hailing the benefits of Britain's partnerships with other nations today as David Cameron sought support for his EU reform package in Brussels.

In a speech to British diplomats at the Foreign Office, Prince William spoke out in favour of the political and economic benefits of working with other countries in international institutions.

He did not mention the European Union by name but his remarks at such a sensitive time drew comparison with a speech that the Queen gave in Germany last year that upset some Eurosceptic MPs.

"In an increasingly turbulent world, our ability to unite in common action with other nations is essential. It is the bedrock of our security and prosperity and is central to your work," he told the diplomats.

Robert Peston ‏@Peston
Hands up who thinks Prince William's "our ability to unite in common action with other nations is essential" is a pro EU dog whistle?

Richard Palmer ‏@RoyalReporter
I rang the KP communications secretary at 1258 to ask if William was talking about the EU. Still waiting for a response from him.
Well, I got a call back from Kensington Palace and, for what it's worth, they deny William was referring to the EU.

Prince William signals support for Britain to stay in the EU as he says UK's partnership with international allies is the 'bedrock of our security and prosperity'

Prince William today gave a strong signal that he wants Britain to stay in the European Union, telling civil servants that uniting with international allies was the 'bedrock of our security and prosperity'.

In an intervention that is likely to infuriate Eurosceptics, the Duke of Cambridge said Britain had long been an 'outward looking nation' and said the 'ability to unite in common action with other nations is essential' in an 'increasingly turbulent world'.

And he all but named the EU as he referenced international organisations such as the United Nations, Nato and 'elsewhere' as institutions that help Britain affirms its 'commitment to working in partnership with others'.

Prince William's comments echo the Queen's extraordinary intervention in the days before the Scottish referendum, telling Scots to consider 'carefully' whether they want to leave the United Kingdom.

William to join Irish Guards for St Patrick's Day

The Duke of Cambridge will visit the Cavalry Barracks in Hounslow , west London, where he will present more than 600 soldiers with traditional shamrock during a St Patrick's Day parade.
William, who is the Colonel of the 1st Battalion Irish Guards, will greet 450 serving soldiers at the ceremony along with 150 association members and Army Cadets from Northern Ireland.
The parade will mark the first time the full battalion has been able to celebrate St Patrick's Day in five years, due to previous commitments serving on the front line in Afghanistan and Iraq, and more recently in operations in Bosnia, Oman and Kenya.

At dinner with Football Association chiefs to mark his 10 years as President of the FA, the prince said: “I’m dying for Leicester to win"

Prince William made a surprise admission on Wednesday that he is backing Leicester City to win the Premier League.

The future King - who is an Aston Villa fan - said he hoped the once underdog Midlands team would be crowned champions this year.

At a dinner with Football Association chiefs to mark his 10 years as President of the FA, the prince said: “I’m dying for Leicester to win.

“It will be good for the game.”

And he also said his 11-month-old daughter Princess Charlotte was good at football, telling former Chelsea, Celtic, and Aston Villa defender Paul Elliott: “She’s a very good footballer.

“You hold her hand and she kicks it.

“Very sweet.”

AWwww how nice, and what does George do tear the ball apart

^It makes me twitchy the way he constantly looks down to read notes during speeches. Taking a public speaking class made me stop doing that, unless it's absolutely necessary

what did he do in those 10 year for the association? besides read his speach? I have issue with his voice more than with his reading. he simply just does not have his heart in this and it shows.
