Sofia's due in April and Victoria's due in March but Victoria has a quite big bump. It is interesting but obviously Sofia has a different figure.

Sofia would love a 24/7 watch on her curves.  That's why she posed buck naked for years.  She wanted her curves looked at and inspected.     easter-bunny

And if CP didn't really mean he wanted to wait before starting a family, he would look happy now and not as if he had been punched in the stomach.     eating cookies

^ Victoria has had quite a little pouch for a couple of months, plus her face has been puffy. Perhaps she's expecting twins! Seriously though, sometimes you carry a bit differently in your second pregnancy and show a little earlier.

definitely both husband and wife should be on the same page regarding babies.
CP didn't seem gloomy but if you noticed it I believe you.
I just want to gently remind that women don't get pregnant on their own. at this day and age men should at least know how babies are made   Cool
...now, if Sophia was on the pill all these years and "forgot" to tell CP that she has decided to stop it after the wedding this could explain a lot.
generally speaking if a woman deliberately tricks a man into getting pregnant - not a winning ticket to a loving family imo

^^It would be lovely if Vic and Dan had twins.  She looks lovely and I think she and Maddie both are wonderfully loving, hands on mothers.  I hope that all goes well with this pregnancy and the baby is healthy.

^Yes, Ariel, I DO believe from the body language and the timing and the pre-wedding interview that CP was blindsighted by the pregnancy and therefore there was some tampering with the birth control by Sofia.  If she had been on the pill, he would not know if she had stopped taking it.   Sofia does not strike me as a maternal type, so I find it difficult to believe she has been longing for a baby.  It seems very much a business deal to me, as her relationship to CP has always been.   Maybe now he is seeing this for the first time.

sounds like a peter pan complex. imo if two people get married - the presumption is that they want to start a family and that includes kids. I'm happy for CP and Sophia. the only downside to the pregnancy is that the family seem to have one big royal even per year and now they will have two which is a potential loss of good PR opportunities if Sophia waited till Victoria gives birth in order to get pregnant

I think family is more important than another PR opportunity. Sofia got pregnant around the same time as Victoria, good for her. The cousins will be the same age and it will be nice for them. No need to stage everything in order to get one baby/event per year. JMO.

Happy for them and pleased all is well.  Have to confess to disappointed they did not do as the girls, they presented their newborns very nicely outside the hospital, this was a bit flat, can barely see the baby.

^ + The dress, the makeup, the hair weren't the most important things for the mother.

She looked tired, happy and proud of her new baby, which is the way new mothers look  -  it is not something you can fake or manufacture  -   it is some sort of inner glow of motherhood post delivery, they have fallen in love at first sight with their child, beautiful to see.  She looked neat and tidy, and as said, make up and hair do, frock, high heels, none of it necessary or needed.  It is clear to see this woman has just delivered her baby, which is one thing a woman cannot fake.
