It is hardly surprising that Charlene has less work than Kate. Monaco is a small city-state. No dozens od counties to visit. And the number of charities active in Monaco is a lot smaller than the number of charities in the UK.

I think that if you calculate the activities of Charlene and Kate per capita of the population of Monaco resp. UK, Charlene probably works more.

^Agree with you there, Charlene hands down for me, every time.  And she is people friendly, does not give a maniacal loony bin grin, not forever furtively looking around for the camera and faking a smile.  I am sure Charlene and Albert have their many faults, not one of us is perfect, but if they were in the place of bill and cath medd I think the UK public would be a lot happier. All we get is dumb and dumber, both bone idle and a total waste of space.

Of course they are going to look nice, its PR to get attention for Albert's anniversary as monarch.

No one believes the marriage and even Albert had to defend the marriage in the interview. She seems to do her life and Albert goes on his own. She still doesnt seem to know french or integrate herself in Monaco society. And she may work even less than Kate.

I agree.  This is definitely an arranged marriage.  They both, however, are delighted to be parents and this will help them "sell" the family unit.   Charlene will forever be "busy" with the twins, and Albert can go on his way as he always has.  Neither has expectations of the other.  It's a practical relationship.

Wow I thought it was Ellen degeneres for a sec!   blink
Nice cut, but a bit to 'military' at the sides for my taste thumbsup
A bit more fluff around the ear would look less.....strict? tehe
It's gonna be hard trying to fit a tiara on that cut (not that she wears many but ya know)

Charlene is a very classy lady and she can rock short hair. I just think that this style is a tad too short. Sometimes a hairdresser will go a bit too far. It will soon grow.

Uh I wouldn't say Charlene is classy at all.

Today is their national day. Charlotte looks exactly like young Caroline today. Beatrice looks perfect  pinkheart

Do not like the haircut.   Only a very few (young) women can pull this off.

I do like her in this hat, though!

Charlene's sense of style is something I really like but am not a fan of the uber-short 'do'.  It's fun to try something different but I don't care for it all that much.  It's not as flattering as a little more length might be.  She's cool to experiment, though.

Pixie cuts must be the fashion now.  I happened to catch "Nashville" on TV last night and an actress had gone from long lucious locks to this:

Maybe Charlene did this not only to experiment but also because she is a hands-on mother of active twins and didn't want to mess with her hair.  I hope she'll grow a little length back . . .

^^  Agree Yooper. I think also the hair cut is a bit severe as she has lost a lot of weight in her face.  Loved the DM article, and the way she was down on her knees talking to the kids, the kids were so enchanted and loved it.  I can´t help but like her, I think she has done well since she married Albert, really tried hard and is getting on with it.

Now this may sound dumb, and I'm sure it will come out this way, by even looking at them as newborns, it was obvious that Jacques was a boy. I felt he just had that "look" that is not always evident with newborns.

I have seen many photos of day old babies in hospitals and it is not always clear what sex they are.

But with Jacques, IMO, it was evident he was a boy.

Has anyone else noticed this?
