Annabelle Neilson dead at 49: Alexander McQueen's best friend who was once married to a Rothschild and starred in Ladies of London passes away
Ladies Of London star Annabelle Neilson has died at the age of 49.
Rothschild is the only son and heir of banker Jacob Rothschild, and is in line to become the fifth Baron Rothschild and inherit around £500million on his father's death.
The former couple met on a beach in India, and his Rothschild's parents were described at the time as being 'appalled' by their 23-year-old son's 'vulgar' choice of wife.
After just three years of marriage, marked by hard-partying and cataclysmic rows, the couple divorced and Neilson reportedly received a generous financial settlement in return for rescinding the dynastic name and signing a confidentiality agreement.
While her young husband's parents were not pleased by their son's choice of wife, Annabelle was in fact well connected - her paternal grandmother was a second cousin of the late Queen Mother.
The brunette beauty was the daughter of Elizabeth, the Marquesa Campus di Santinelli, while her first cousin was the Earl of Warwick. As a young girl Annabelle enjoyed play dates at Warwick Castle.

She seemed to have gone off the rails when she didn’t want to return to the show. I think she returned to her wild ways as she seemed to have been stuck back in the days of her with Alexander McQueen and the jet set lifestyle with her model friends. On the show, although irritating at times, she seemed to just be herself and could care less about the show. It’s a shame she died young.

Oh wow!! I liked her on Ladies of London, she wasn't into bytch fights and was just herself and clearly aristocratic/ well-connected. Very sad, but in ways I suppose not too surprising considering her hard partying past and the company she still kept (well known druggies like K Moss). A shame she bunched up her face so terribly with surgeries.

I'm really sad by her death.

A touch surprised, you'd think someone like K Moss wouldn't be able to go on so long... Then again who knows what was going on in Annabelle's life, maybe she had a relapse after that horseriding accident that broke many bones in her body a few years ago? And McQueen's death did a number on her as well.

I'd like to know more..

Hope she's at peace.

She died last Thursday (12th) already!!!:

The onetime model turned Ladies Of London reality star died last Thursday, after her body was found by the ambulance service at her £3.1million ($4.1million) home in Chelsea, London, police told DailyMail.com. The death is not being treated as suspicious.

The last person to see McQueen alive, she was left devastated by his death.

'He was my brother, my boyfriend, my soulmate. Most of the time people called me Mrs McQueen. Quite often we were sharing a bed,' she told the Daily Mail in 2015.

'The truth is I was happier with Lee than with anyone else. He asked me to marry him towards the end and I said no. I wish now that I had said yes.'

Correction

I'm sorry mods, please merge my posts, I did not intend to "spam"!

Apparently she died Monday, namely today (16th), she updated her instagram only 2 days ago.
https://www.instagram.com/p/BlNpvlIHMTO/?hl=en&taken-by=annabelleneilson1

It seems it may have been suicide, which was my suspicion: either suicide or her body gave up (after years of drug abuse and surgeries etc: hard lifestyle).

Reports that she was found dead at her Chelsea apartment and that she died broke, but I'd say that's all speculation (for now), but not hard to believe tbh.

SEBASTIAN SHAKESPEARE: Queen's nephew David Linley hit by £1.5million loss to furniture design business
The Queen’s furniture designer nephew David Linley numbers Sir Elton John and Oprah Winfrey among his gilded clients.
But it would seem that Linley — the 2nd Earl of Snowdon, as he officially became on his father’s death early in 2017 — could do with significantly more of their patronage, judging by accounts just published for David Linley & Company Limited, which show that it plunged to a £1.5 million loss for the last financial year.
Perhaps he had other things on his mind. Linley, 56, was recently appointed by Prince of Wales as No. 2 of his new charity, The Prince’s Foundation. And the Earl has also just withdrawn from an election for a seat — reserved for hereditary peers — in the House of Lords.
Linley has endured commercial challenges before.
After the financial crisis, he turned for assistance to a Russian oligarch, Sergei Pugachev, nicknamed ‘Cashier to the Kremlin’, who extended him a £400,000 loan.
That connection did not, alas, endure, with Pugachev leaving the company in 2011 and ending up a fugitive in France to escape extradition to Russia whose government accused him of embezzling £655 million. Linley then found a saviour in the form of British yacht broker Jamie Edmiston, who invested £4 million — in return for 60 per cent of the business. But in 2014 Edmiston sold 56 per cent of the company to a Malaysian duo, David Chua and Dato’ Sri Nazir Razak.
Last year, the company seemed finally to have turned the corner. Declaring that it had enjoyed ‘a transformational’ 12 months, it opened a store in Piccadilly and revamped its Belgravia HQ, and announced that it had made a profit of £337,000 on sales of £13.5 million.
But that appears to have been something of a false dawn, with shareholders pumping another £2 million into the company, which employs 69 staff — and an unnamed highest paid director who trousered £297,439 last year.
The company attributes part of the loss to ‘the completion of its estate refurbishment programme’.
The company very recently opened a store in Piccadilly and revamped its Belgravia HQ as part of a turnaround

Social media royalty! Prince Harry's model cousin Lady Amelia Windsor, 23, cashes in on her rising Instagram fame with SPONSORED fashion posts (but what would the Queen say?)
Lady Amelia Windsor is now a paid influencer.
The royal, 23, shared two sponsored Instagram posts over the summer, both for Michael Kors.
Her publications, posted in July and August, come with the mention 'Paid partnership with michaelkors', which is meant to inform her followers that they are looking at an ad.
Amelia, a distant cousin of Prince Harry who is 38th in line of succession to the British throne, is represented by Storm Model Management, the same agency as Lottie Moss, Kate Moss' 20-year-old sister.
Celebrities can earn five or six-figure sums for their publications on Instagram, though the amounts vary widely depending on factors such as their number of followers and how much they engage with them. With 73,700 followers, Amelia has a significant following. However, she remains below the 100,000-follower mark and is trailing far behind certain celebrities who have built huge online communities.
One A-lister has candidly discussed her Instagram earnings in the past few months: Bella thorne.
In April this year, she revealed in the documentary Inside The Life of Bella Thorne, released by Vogue, that she earns $65,000 for a single Instagram post.
She even credited the social media platform with helping to pay for her house.
Although she did not confirm what home she was referring to, it was reported in December 2016 that Bella had spent a whopping $2 million on a 4,500-square-foot property in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles.
According to Trulia, the house has six bedrooms, six bathrooms, a sprawling backyard with a beautiful modern pool, a large kitchen, and an outdoor grill area.

She's now on the cover and working for Tatler. Will she now use Harry to market herself after using 'the most beautiful royal' basically got laughed at as people don't find her that pretty> She's an aristrocrate and not a royal and a distant cousin to Harry so she shouldn't be allowed to further cheapen the royal family by sing them.

What would the Queen say? Lady Kitty Spencer models a 'happy leaves' CANNABIS necklace as she poses for new Bulgari campaign in Rome
The niece of the late Princess Diana, was seen posing alongside photographer Alan Gelati in the glamorous shoot for Marie Claire Italy wearing the gold chain embellished with cut-outs in the shape of cannabis leaves
Revealing that she had the 'best time shooting', Kitty posted a few pictures of the upscale photoshoot, modelling the designer's 'Wild Pop' collection.

Chopped out of their father-in-law's £71milion will: Actress Tracy Worcester and Lady Caroline, who was beaten by her husband Lord Edward, won't receive A PENNY of the late Duke of Beaufort's vast fortune

David Somerset, the 11th Duke of Beaufort, was once famously described as 'ruthless yet charming ... the kindest man alive'.

Now, just over a year after the Duke's death aged 89, I can disclose that his will, by which he bequeathed a personal fortune of £71 million, seems to validate that ruthless logic.

For while making generous provision for his widow — his second wife, Miranda, who was for many years his mistress while he was still married — and all other members of his family, as well as those he employed, the Duke also made two clearly specific exceptions to the roll-call of beneficiaries, insisting they be excluded.

They are two of his then daughters-in-law, Tracy, Marchioness of Somerset, and Georgina Caroline Somerset, the wives of his eldest son, 'Bunter', the current Duke, and second son, Lord Edward Somerset, respectively.

Actress turned environmentalist Tracy, 59, long familiar with the quirks of the aristocracy — her grandfather was the 3rd Earl of Dudley — was unaware of her father-in-law's intentions.

'I had no idea — I haven't seen it [the will],' she tells me.

But the date on which the will was signed — October 3, 2014 — appears instructive.

Then Tracy and Bunter, whose three children were among the will's beneficiaries, were living separate lives, with Tracy devoting herself to her campaigning organisation, Farms Not Factories.

Clearly, the Duke appears to have foreseen possible estrangement or divorce in his sons' lives and acted accordingly, with clause 3.1.1.7 of the will specifically cutting out Tracy and Caroline.

Earlier this year, Tracy and Bunter, the 12th Duke of Beaufort and now 66, finalised their divorce, after which he married Georgia Powell, granddaughter of novelist Anthony Powell.

The couple live at the 52,000-acre family seat, the 40-bedroom Badminton House, whose walls are dripping with masterpieces, including two Canalettos.

Caroline's husband, Edward, received a two-year jail sentence at the beginning of 2014 for subjecting her to actual bodily harm. The couple were then estranged and the marriage has been at an end for some time.

The Duke signed his will just a few days before Edward — having served only seven months in prison — was released.

^ That seems to be very old news though, supposedly they split last year already for good, if not even before last year. Harriet moved a few months ago to South Africa (for work). Very hard to get to the family and news & gossip on them. The dm must be working hard to have some mule. The article also seems almost lifted from tumblr blogs, because this has been a very recent discussion there... easter-think

^ Please don't apologize! It's good info nonetheless, I too thought about posting the article flower This is a discussion board after all and we all know media isn't always right easter-wink There's also usually more to any story and the rumour mill has it that they broke up ages ago (for good..?) and that she's fairly recently moved abroad (for her job). The biggest problem with the G family (and some others too, the Percys come to mind and fairly little is known about the (younger) Spencers too.. and many more!) is that they are incredibly private, so getting info is quite hard and what you do get is questionable, 1. because of lack of sources and 2. because we don't know them so it's hard to judge the truth of any story because there's no precedent or pattern...
