I'd be like - give Jack a dukedom so that Andy is happy. It's not that big of a deal. He's a handsome man and he charmed Eugenie that's probably enough credentials for her. If her papa will be happier if the son in law is Duke of ABC, then - not a big deal, I'm sure the queen will be happy to hand it over to them as part of her wedding gift.

Dukedoms can only be created anymore for "born royals", so Jack can get an Earldom, at best. I think that's why Armstrong-Jones back in the day "only" got an Earldom.
They have to consider public outcry over a new Earldom and they might be smart like Philips was and decline it. I wouldn't be surprised though if they accepted an Earldom.

If Eugenie does not work or is banned from doing royal work by Charles in future, the title for her husband would be criticized heavily. Some decision needs to be made now by HM if Eugenie and her husband will work for the Firm. Princess Anne works but her husband stays in the background and does not do royal work. What about security issues for the new husband?

Andrew pays from his own pocket for the security of all the family, based on reports.
I think it will be nice to keep the Yorks in for at least 10-15 years or longer if the MM fiasco gets beyond the altar.

I am waiting to see where Fergie sits at the wedding. The intriguing part is if she will sit next to Andrew and with the royals. I think she will but this will be interesting to watch.

I wonder if the groom will get a title (or not) and if Eugenie works, will husband work too?

I can see Sarah bouncing along on Andy's arm, making worse faces than Waity ever thought about during the ceremony.

Eugenie and Jack do look wonderfully happy!

People already on Twitter are making fun of Fergie's never-ending gushing Tweets. As for a real life Prince taking his daughter down the aisle, this is alleged pedo Air Miles Andy we are talking about here. There are a lot of people who would prefer a more retiring dad!

Fergie won't be on Andy's arm. He'll be with Eugenie and then the BRF. She, as a divorced wife will be seated in the portion of the apse next to where the royal family sit, with some Ferguson relatives. Similar to where the mother of the bride, Frances Shand Kidd, sat at Diana's wedding.

Fergie has a sister and I assume some other relatives to be at the wedding. The sister has not been heard of for years. I hope Fergie does not do the mugging at the wedding.

I doubt that this wedding will be televised but more like Peter's and Zara's - maybe a few shots of the family arriving and the arrival of the bride and party along with the departure of the bride and groom and then a couple of photos of the couple.

Windsor is a great choice as they can secure the venue by simply closing the castle for the day. After the criticism of Zara forcing the shutting down of central Edinburgh and the security costs associated with her wedding I am pleased to see this one being done more sensibly - close to her family home at Royal Lodge, easy access for Granny and Grandpa (we may not even see Grandpa as he can enter the chapel from inside the castle as the Queen Mum did at Edward's wedding).

I doubt there would be any drive through the streets of Windsor afterwards but a carriage ride up the hill from St Georges to the castle.

She can't help herself. Unless they drug her, she will be in rubber face mode.  Embarrassed

Fergie's going to milk this one for everything it's worth.
