Having seen it now, a photo I mean and not just a moving image, I do like the colour on her too. And it was properly cut too, so it flattered her.

Both York sisters were sensational today.

Also that kind of simplicity suits her. Bea's was too much for a morning wedding.

^ You hit the nail on the head Alexandrine.  It's the simplicity of her dress that makes it.  Now that I'm thinking about it most, if not all, of the outfits I've liked on her have been a simple style.  Looking forward to seeing her wedding gown too!

Unfortunately I thought Eugenie looked like an air stewardess. The dress was very frumpy on her, and I didn't like the hat. Beatrice's dress wasn't good for a morning wedding. Fergie looked like Maleficent.

At least their dresses and hats were better than what they worn to W&W's wedding.

The dress is too loud and ill fitting. IMO.

It's a lovely shaped neck on her. But the dress did not suit her, IMHO. I didn't like the front parting even though it looked lovely in the advert.

I think it looks perfect for a young woman at a garden party. It is one of the best outfits I can remember Eugenie ever wearing - suits both her and the occasion.

The cut of the dress was not good. It should have been a straight skirt in front. A less "loud" pattern would have been better. And it was matronly looking on her.

Princess Beatrice Visits Sedney made a special visit to St. Vincent’s Hospital in Darlinghurst.Beatrice was in Sydney on non-royal duties with the company she works for – Afiniti -- to attend a business lunch, and only finalised her appearance at the hospital a few weeks ago. https://honey.nine.com.au/2018/06/01/10/43/princess-beatrice-of-york-visits-sydney?app=applenews

Eug's style is bold and she pulls it off perfectly. Bea has some learning to do in the dress to impress department. Black and brown are not her colors.

I think that Eugenie dressed acceptably and appropriately but is not a fashion icon. She is not much better than Bea. They need more tailoring of their dresses and more figure flattering cuts. Eugenie's dress could have been toned down as far as patterns and had more tailoring, it did not fit exactly right. It could have been off the rack and not tailored.
