The mum-of-two, whose father-in-law is the Queen's cousin Prince Michael of Kent, was rushed to hospital after emergency services were called to the mangled wreckage.

A source told the paper: "It was a terrible shock for the whole family. Freddie’s looking after their two girls while Sophie recovers.
