It sounds like it was a blast!  Great band, btw, and perfect for the city, musical environment, food style, the works.  Good job.

We'll get a pic when the Memphis newspaper prints photos.  Can't wait because I seriously have no idea how it looked in proper lighting or what have you nor do I have a clear look at Pelly himself.

Anybody know where they're going on their honeymoon?

I kind of liked the dress; better than the generic white satin with predictable embroidery patterns.

I didn't mind the dress but it really made me think I had  seen something like it before! Now I think it reminded me of this!

I wonder if it's a Jenny Packham!

She's an attractive girl but her dress and hair make her look older.

The make up seemed really heavy, and the hairdo was a bit matronly I  thought. She is pretty, but I agree looked a fair bit older in these pics. Maybe it looked better in reality.

Thanks for all the info folks. It sounds like a fab wedding.

I like the idea of PW waking up the next morning with a massive hangover saying to PH "Did I really invite that band over to play at Buck House?" Coffee screen Coffee screen

^Thanks, Fly!  I still can't get a handle on that darn dress but she has the most beautiful complexion and love, love, love the bouquet from what I can see.  I'm not even sure what kind of flowers they are.  Magnolias?  Really sweet picture and it's a nice, loving shot.  I wish them all the very best.

I do agree that she's got the 'big hair' thing going on there but will withhold judgment until I can get a look at the whole presence.

I'm starting to wonder if the dress isn't an adaptation of, perhaps, her mother's or grandmother's dress.  The fabric, upon zoom in inspection, has a vintage feel to it.  Reaching here, but just a thought.

It looks like a wannabe cheap Saab.

no vintage fabric - too much of the iridescent thing going on

yeah - that sewn on flower Saab thing - but not many flowers - and the Jenny Packham sleeve thing -

I'm not wild about the dress - but her overall look is lovely - her flowers, the veil and they look happy especially Pelly

I do love Lizzie's circlet of flowers, which is great for a chignon. In two minds about the dress but they do look happy!

^^You're right, not vintage.  I got off track at the sleeve fabric which looks exactly like my grandmother's fabric.  Really.  I'm getting a lot more used to the dress but still would love to see it in full length.  All in all, there's nothing as beautiful as a happy bride and groom.  And at least her hair is up and not stringy all over the place like someone else I know.  Lovely, really, just lovely.

^To answer your previous question the flowers her bouquet is made of are white sweetpeas.

^Oh, yes, of course.  That's it. Where's my head?  It also looks like jasmine may have been used for the groom/attendants.  What a simply charming choice.

oh sweetpeas - that is so nice - we only have the pink sweetpeas here so that is why I do not recognize them

I love lily of the valley on groomsmen

I think I read that the arch was made up of roses and white sweetness and I think maybe jasmine. Lovely and simple scent combination, fragrant but not overpowering.

^Subtle, fabulous.  Gosh, I miss my blooming night jasmine in California.  Anyway, any honeymoon info?  Sorry to ask twice but keep forgetting.
