I agree KF...I read an article about a man who served 22 years in the Royal forces in the UK now that he has retired his Canadian wife and children are being sent back to Canada because he is no longer in the Military

In fairness, when Americans go overseas, they are obviously very qualified to do what they are doing since the regulations are steep. Yet, Eugenie just hops right over and starts working without any complications.

Something about the Yorkies just steams me, that's the real issue.

I hear you KF - there is something about both of them - that just does not come off right to me -

The Yorkies are the type that (to me) are riding the gravy train as much as they can. Beatrice is eager to be HM's 'helper,' which is her way of insinuating herself into the life of cutting ribbons and living a posh life and Eugenie isn't really working in New York, I suspect she's trying to land herself a rich man to live off of for the rest of her life.

That neither of the girls has shoved Fergie off is enough to give me pause.

Too bad he wasn't granted citizenship or the right to stay for the rest of his natural life, along with a generous pension.

I do enough research on the royals I'll take your word for it I'm done researching trying to find any good in any of them

just saying if people are willing to jump through the red tape to legally work in other countries I have no problem with that....yet the Royals IMO should focus on the country their princess's or prince's of again that's my outlook.

Sorry Nighthawk.  I was making a rhetoric statement when I said "If you care to research..." I wasn't actually telling you (or anybody else for that matter) personally to research, my apologies.  I can see how that could have been misinterpreted.  sorry

You are right about that, for Americans to migrate to the countries they like to migrate to: mainly Japan and other major European centers, they need to be qualified, otherwise they won't be able to immigrate (to Japan especially. By the way, that Japanese standard applies to all Westerners).  However, to migrate to other countries like S. American countries and minor Asian (there are a lot of Americans working in Dubai in the casinos) countries is fairly easy for them. And Americans do it all the time.  There are a lot of Americans working in the tourist industry in S. American countries (getting paid way more than the locals) with no other qualification than an american passport (By the way, this applies to a lot of Europeans too). Not that there is anything wrong with that, if they get hire because they speak English and Spanish/Japanese (which is usually the reason they are hired) and they can do the job well, why not?
Let them work.

The thing with Eugene is that, like others have pointed out, her job is about connections.  And it is also a vanity job, I agree. It is not a job that would have gone to and average American anyways.

And most of the European (and I think some Africans too) royals in NY are in the financial and the fashion industry.  Now those jobs should be given to Americans. American business schools are overflowing with talent, as a matter of fact, they are world leaders in finance.  Many Europeans prefer to go to American business schools, that is not a secret to anyone.

We see her out and about in heels, short skirts, and stockings and this alone tells me she's not in a gallery working on he hands and knees or adjusting portraits. How many unknown artists has she researched and contacted? That is what I would like to know myself before I admire her.

From the sound of it, she's going to galas, flying to London half the time, and mainly enjoying the New York nightlife. She's not living with other students and she's certainly not liekly socializing with them after work hours. There is no way she should be getting 50k a year, I know that much. Frankly I don't think she should get more than something each month since she's only there on a trial basis, after just three months. So far she hasn't working on setting up galas or anything interesting.

she isn't working at a gallery - she is working for an online internet auction company - I am going to guess she is mostly doing marketing or accounting?  She did not study IT so she isn't involved in that.  Maybe the graphic for how the stuff is displayed on the webpages?  At 50,000 is sounds more like the salary of someone who answers phones and gets coffee!

She has been photographed with a few B list TV type actresses and sports figures - some music artists etc - and she did attend this big society fund raiser with Bea - the Water Ball.  Otherwise the pics of her in the NYC papers like the Post or the NYDaily News have been with her parents.

Maybe I am being unfair - but I see both Bea and Eugenie as being caught up in their parents plots and schemes - part of the ongoing RF plots and schemes about money, housing and status.  Most observers and writers about the RF will comment about the intense rivalries, jockeying for position, and competition among those lesser ( not Charles or his kids) royals for the crumbs left over after PC and his get theirs.  Bea and Eugenie look to be playing that game too - perhaps again I am being unfair -but I think the evidence is there.

I think Beatrice and Eugenie are indeed playing games and determined to get some kind of security before the chop falls from Charles. They're not ingenues or innocents; no one in that family is and I do not think that Beatrice and Eugenie are unaffected by the reality that Charles wants to put an end to their posh lifestyle. Eugenie is determined to fix her brother up with a friend and is apparently determined to see that through and Beatrice is merrily enjoying the luxe lifestyle unashamedly.

She should just quit her job and do this full time, not take a job that could go to someone who WANTS it.

^And who's to say she doesn't want it?  I believe that whatever she is doing right now is exactly what she got hired for.  I don't think she was actually expected to get on her knees and adjust portrait frames by her employers.

Then why hire her and pay her 50K a year? Why not make her a business ambassador?

Cigarette in hand, standing next to Elvis's granddaughter: Are Eugenie and her pals REALLY visiting a strip joint in Soho?

With its gaudy neon signs advertising the sleazy adult entertainment within, this looks like just the sort of seedy Soho dive that Royalty should steer well clear of.

But here Princess Eugenie happily poses for a photograph alongside the bright lights advertising ‘Girls, Girls Girls’ at a peep show in the heart of London’s notorious sex trade district.

Thankfully, however, all is not quite what it seems. This is no sordid strip club, but modern art outside a trendy Mexican restaurant paying tribute to the area’s infamous past.

Pictured alongside the granddaughter of the Queen is the granddaughter of The King – Elvis Presley’s relative Riley Keough, 24 – plus Eugenie’s childhood friend, Grace O’Leary, who now works in a London talent agency.

The photograph, which shows Eugenie in a smart suit and smoking a cigarette outside La Bodega Negra, is believed to have been taken last summer, and has just been posted on Facebook.

Maybe she thinks damaged women who are being exploited is in fact funny, yes? She has nerve, but what do you expect of a cousin of Harry who himself enjoys "The Box."

You seem to be looking for a reason to attack this girl. Within the part of the article you quote it clearly states it's not a strip club. They came up with a scandalous headline and then quickly backtracked just to bring readers in on a photo that's months old. There's nothing bad here. You want bad? I've seen people posing and smiling with the remains of one of the Twin Towers behind them. THAT'S bad.

Why would she do it for free? Isn't this a for-profit?  We can call it business ambassador, they can call it new hire-intern-curator whoever-that's their prerogative. They are the ones signing the cheques and until they don't send her off, we can't say for sure that they mind.  Also, I just read that the founders of paddle 8 where actually school mates to Wills and Harry, so we can safely say that she didn't apply for that job, it was created for her.

Princess Eugenie cinches in green satin shift with tiny metallic belt at star-studded amfAR gala

She is a fan of wearing just one solid colour at red carpet events, and Princess Eugenie stuck to her rule again on Wednesday evening.
The 23-year-old showed just how to make a simple shift dress work for your shape when she attended amfAR's gala held at New York's Cirpriani Wall Street.
Keeping the rest of her outfit exceptionally simple, the seventh-in-line to the throne let her bright green number do all the talking.
