Beatrice goes back to school! Princess follows in sister Eugenie's footsteps as she heads to the US to begin a course in finance

Princess Beatrice is set to follow in sister Eugenie's footsteps and has temporarily relocated to the US, the Duchess of York has revealed.

The 26-year-old princess, who is thought to have already arrived in the US, will study for a qualification in finance during her stay.

In a statement, a spokesman for the Duchess said: 'Princess Beatrice started a finance course in the US this week' but refused to confirm which institution the royal is studying at.
The news, which was first reported in Hello! magazine, means both of Prince Andrew's daughters are now living in the US, even if, for at least one of them, it isn't permanent.

Both York girls should stay in the US give them a chance to grow

Princess Beatrice supports close friend Holly Branson as she gives speech at charity dinner... on her first day back to work after having twins!

They're great friends who attend events, share pals in common and even climb mountains together, so attending a charity reception where Holly Branson was giving a speech was no stretch for Princess Beatrice.

The royal wore a blue jacket over a black dress, with a black crocodile clutch at a cocktail reception and dinner ahead of We Day UK event on Friday.

Holly Branson, Sir Richard Branson's daughter, who co-chairs the day-long charity festivities, gave a speech to an audience that included her father, brother Sam Branson and actor Martin Sheen, on her first day back to work after having twins in December.

The royal legbomb! Princess Beatrice oozes Hollywood glamour as she attends new exhibition honouring Alexander McQueen

Princess Beatrice showed she has a royal flair for fashion as she turned up at the Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty exhibition in a black tuxedo gown slashed to the thigh.

The 26-year-old guaranteed all eyes were on her, yet still managed to appear elegant as she flashed some leg on her way into the venue.

The slender princess inadvertently brought back memories of the 2012 Oscars, when pictures of Angelina Jolie 'legbombing' went viral on the internet.

real 40's or maybe 30's look - love a retro glamor look very sophisticated but I pity her in that her parents did not get her to a good orthodontist as a kid - she has such a severe over bite she cannot really even close her lips.

if she is only a royal in name, let her enjoy her life. If Kate can show her panties to everyone Beatrice has the same rights.

That's a LOT of leg. Mind you, we've seen her in a bikini before. Poor girl can't catch a break with the pictures though, there's plenty of shots that don't present her as bug eyed but that seems to be standard, ESPECIALLY the mail.

Duty calls for Beatrice, the freeloading Princess

In these tough times, the Royals have to give us value for money.

With unfortunate timing, Princess Beatrice has given up her job and appears to be lurching from treat to treat with three dream holidays in the space of a month.

The timing is bad because the spotlight is still firmly on her father, Prince Andrew, who is at the centre of sordid accusations. He certainly doesn’t need any more negative headlines or publicity right now.

Princess Beatrice Charitable Work With Frontline
Princess Beatrice saw the harsh reality of child protection work when she attended case meetings and met a boy taken into foster care.

The co-founder of the charitable trust Big Change, which helps projects improving young people’s lives, said the staff were “unsung heroes, often invisible to the rest of us”.

“At Big Change we are committed to supporting high-impact social projects like Frontline. Today’s opportunity allowed me to see first-hand the incredible work that social workers are doing every day.”

Beatrice celebrates Holi in a bejewelled bindi! Princess is glamorous in green at cocktail party to mark Indian festival
It's one of India's most colourful festivals and when Princess Beatrice was invited to get involved during a London cocktail party thrown to celebrate it, she just couldn't resist getting stuck in.

Luckily for Beatrice, that meant bindi accessories inspired by the sub-continent rather than the paint-throwing that characterises the real thing.

The 26-year-old was back on the fashion circuit for the second time in less than seven days, having stepped out for the gala launch of the Alexander McQueen Savage Beauty retrospective last week.

Happy Birthday princess! Andy's singalong for Eugenie... via iPad with a 400-strong audience to join in

If that wasn’t enough, the prince got his 400-strong audience in the State Apartments at St James’s Palace to sing a cheery rendition of Happy Birthday, accompanied by a trumpeter from the Scots Guards.

The royal, who was hosting the Pitch@Palace event for entrepreneurs, introduced the stunned audience to the singalong at St James’s Palace, saying: ‘We are going to do something new this evening.

The new TV series The Royals which is being slated as the worst TV ever apparently has two red haired princesses and they have a *nasty* father.   Although the characters are not supposed to represent anyone comparisons are being made.  Re PA's 'singalong' its the usual RF MO ie carry on as if nothing has happened.

Nine holidays and it's only March... so how IS the job hunt going, Beatrice? Daughter of Air Miles Andy has enjoyed string of foreign trips since quitting work before Christmas

Andy.

And judging by her nine foreign jaunts since Christmas, it seems Princess Beatrice is keen to follow in his extremely well-trodden footsteps.

Despite insisting she is ‘exploring her career options’, the unemployed 26-year-old has found time to jet away for luxury ski trips, sun herself on a Caribbean yacht and party with her friends in Greece.

What's wrong with her?  blink  I do not understand.

She wants to be a younger version of his mother?

She is competing with Cambrigde (who has more holidays and ignore the most critical and the people)?

i guess people say she's  now a private person she can do what she wants.

Well, in one way she is of course, since her money comes from a trust fund and many of her expenses are paid by her father. That won't stop the Daily Fail in the future, though! I'm a bit puzzled by Beatrice. Work, especially enjoyable, satisfying work, defines most people. Yet she is perfectly happy drifting along with short term jobs and taking lots of holidays, one after the other. Maybe she is still hoping for a public role within the royal family and her father is pressing her to keep that hope alive.

Eugenie has clearly accepted that she isn't going to be a working member of The Firm but Beatrice I do think still is hoping for such a role but she should have realised by now that it simply isn't going to happen.

I think that her plan is to argue - "I can't get a full-time job and keep it for one reason or another" e.g. her details were made public due to the hacking of Sony, "so I need to work for The Firm or I will simply drift giving bad publicity". No doubt other reasons were used to justify why she left her other job. She is hoping that they will put her on the firm's duty roster simply because she has nothing else to do.

I also think ... if given that chance ... she would step up quite well and be a working princess for the firm in the way that Alexandra and Anne were in earlier generations. When she has undertaken charity work she has done so with dignity and grace.

However we do have reports that when she asked to do more in the Jubilee year both Charles and William said 'no - we won't ask The Queen to allow you to do more' but she still hasn't got that message it seems.
