I watch a documentary on dolphins, the hunting of dolphins in Japan is pretty serious, as they allow it, God help this kind of nature is beautiful, I love dolphins, it is very sad to see people killing them as well, I believe who needs to further enhance the work of environmentalists, especially among the Japanese people for that prohibit hunting .... These American environmental documentary are doing a good job at it I also admire Prince Charles, it is a good side to fight the species, this love of nature, it is something very positive and many environmentalists ... Congratulations, let's move on ...

I remember that actress from the show Heroes she went to Japan with activists a few years ago to stop the slaughter of the Dolphins and she was told by the goverment never to enter Japan again. Now look what's happened there it's like the earth is taking revenge on all the cruelty that's happening to animals somehow.

Trying to make an iTunes list for downloading to my iTouch for my upcoming reunion that requires hours of listening to everything written between 1963 - 1975.  I'm opting for two files, one soft rock, one real rock, but man, we made a lot of music then!

Anyway, it may be a waste of effort because everybody wants to bring their cassettes. (!) I toldja, I'm going into the Hinterland.  All I asked for was a docking station.  You'd think I was from Star Trek or something.

Anywho, totally loving Motown right now.  Back in my day, WLS out of Chicago was the only radio you could hear music at all after the sun went down and all the radio signals calmed down.  My first real rock tune I ever heard was Love Potion #9.  You guys won't get that, but it's cool for me.

^ I got it! Love potion #9 is a great song. I inherited one of my aunts old 8 tracks and 45's! Yep, that's right, I grew up with 8 tracks and 45's, along with cassettes. All the oldies and might I add there are plenty of goodies! Love motown! My grandparents still have an old fashioned gramophone that works. sigh (I'm really not as old as this makes me sound though!)

Right now I'm trying to make a serious plan for the future. ...

I kinda gave up on a serious plan for my future, EA, so you're way ahead of me, or I'm waaaay ahead of you and should shout back, "GIVE IT UP!"   Not sure.

I've made my way up to the Yardbirds.  Now it's time for the Eagles, The Byrds, Dave Clark Five, and Moody Blues.  Nobody can make a compilation from 1960 - 1975-ish without spending weeks.  Not possible.  When did music become so stupid.  As I listen, wow, that's good stuff.

And, remember, I am what?  Hmmm?  YES, the biggest Beatle fan in the world, so there's all THAT.  Wow.

Right now, it's Fortunate Son by Creedence.  Yessssssssss!

These doofuses at my reunion better bow low.  No.  LOWER.

^ Yes wonderful music. Crosby, Stills, & Nash, The Bee Gees, The Kinks, YES! There are sooo many artists that had true talent and thought provoking, yes oftentimes peaceful music. Sounds like you're going to have an excellent compilation!  loveshower

I know I should probably give up concrete planning, but I have to at least pick a definite direction and course of action to guide myself for assisting my children in achieving their dreams. I'm sure there'll be roadblocks, detours, and uturns, but hey, at least I'll be able to say I had some sort of map. ...

* I should note that this map does not include plans for my daughter to chase a prince or my son to marry some heiress. They are my children's dreams that will not involve me trying to live vicariously through them or encouraging them to social climb. easter-lol They will have to work hard to attain their individual ideas of success*

Well, you're doing something far more worthy than I, EA.  All I'm doing is re-creating people's lives from a long time ago through music.  But, maybe that's not such a bad thing.  We never dance as well as we did then, tho.  And you should see my dress!  ANYway, the music has been a dream, so far.

I swear, they can try and they can dance and techno it up all they want, it's hard to top some of the stuff I'm listening to that I haven't in years.  Wow.

The KINKS are next and I can't wait.

Ok, here they are.  They were/are (still doin' it?) the best.  My really awful ex-husband played them in a band and I swooned.  "I believe that you and me will last forever...yeah...."  Yeah.  What.  Ever.  Still good tunes.  *dancing around room*  L.O.L.A. Lola....La la la la la LOLA!

I'd much rather be dancing around my house to some oldies! Spooky-bat No one ever helped me plan for my future. For the most part I was raised to be a wife and mother first and consider obtaining an education. Very old school upbringing. I went to college but withdrew to get married and start a family. I didn't finish my undergrad as a traditional student, although I have managed to go on to obtain a masters degree. I feel like I can't leave my kids to figure it all out on their own, like I eventually had to do. To help them chart their currently ever changing pathes helps give me some peace of mind that they'll each be able to monetarily take care of oneself at least. They're both still young enough where they have many options. No need to stress about such matters quite yet. ...

I'm too distracted to focus right now though, so I'm going to relax & listen to some oldies music! Maybe dance around some. Spooky-bat

You and I have a lot more in common than I thought.  I took two years of college and then got pregnant.  I didn't finish until my kids were older, too, so they don't know how lucky they are. They really don't.  One kid got his path, one finally found his, but is still hanging out here off and on helping me with my never-ever-to-die mother.  Life.  A gas.

I'm up to Simon and Garfunkel now.  AWESOME!!!!!  "I AM A ROCK! I AM AN ISLAND!"  Enjoy.  Dance, dance, dance.

I think I missed the Moody Blues and Pink Floyd in there somewhere so gotta do a u-turn, tho.

Hopefully, you get no ads.  GAWD, I've been working on this.  Awesome music, tho:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PycKSdKG_74

I'm workin' on American music as you can see.  I've nailed the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Jerry and the Pacemakers, the Troggs, etc, etc, etc, and now it's Motown and it's amazing.
