^Oh, Akasha, that must be very difficult.  Extra pay, I assume.

^Well, it's deserved, so I'll hope so.  That's combat pay at least.   easter-sly

I'm trying out my new earbuds that I got myself for Christmas.  They truly block out all noise.  Perfect for traveling, although I'd totally miss the 'we have arrived' announcement, I suppose.  I cannot hear anything when they're in my ears and the sound?  AMAZING!   easter-bunny

^That's super fun!   easter-bunny

Please don't kill me and remember that I've spent most of the winter living like a popsicle.  But, I'm watching the almost-full moon sparkle off of the Mediterranean and the night is full of crickets (I assume) and a truly balmy, heavy with marine layer air that is simply heaven.

^Thanks.  It reallllly is beyond beautiful; these people are so lucky to live here.  I'm looking at the weather back in good ol' upper Michigan and it ain't pretty, folks, so it'll be a cold blast of that nonsense in a little while.  SOOOO, what I'm doing right now is trying to avoid walking down to the store to buy the best chocolate bars on the planet and eat four (or more) of them.  All I've got in the fridge ('cause I'm moving to a hotel) is a hard boiled egg and a thing of yogurt.  Hmph.   sauer

Quantity: about 150 pounds of rough and cut diamonds and jewellery
Value of the cargo: several million $
Risk level: medium to high

Scared is what I'm doing right now.  It's dark and I lost my keys in the snow so anybody could have my house key and I'm watching "Whitechapel" on Netflix.  Great show but freakin' me out.  Can't seem to stop, however.   thankyou
