Can you imagine a time when the truth ran free ...

I' not liking living in the North and having months of cold weather.  cold I'd much prefer living in a warmer climate right about now!

To me the best award show was during the Writers Strike, no frills.

It was just the Head of the Academy and he showed a clip of each movie then named the winner.

No red carpet ( OMG who are you wearing ), no actors/actresses (They are soooo amazing talented) or speeches ( this is the greatest day of my life)  X-Mas_rolleyes

Hey, GDF!  While you're surfing, if you come across a lightly flowered recliner that's for a small person, holler.

^^Whatcha coming up with, Byechoc?  I do the same thing.

Right now, I'm still packing absolute necessities and throwing away things I'll totally want later, for the big MOVE on the 15th to my new home.  SO, it's break time, which, in SoCal terms means, sunset/Chard.

 hello Yopper
I spent years at university! I was investigating on two areas ... I could write articles and stuff .. even won awards for everything you did ... I left everything to be a teacher, and after all, had to leave due to health problems ..
But nothing ever filled me completely, always missed something important to have complete happiness ..
I remember my friends telling me:
You are in a great time, everything you touch turns to gold!
But I always felt sad and alone ... I confess that I often feel jealous of my friends are building their lives and they are to marry ... I'm sick of going to weddings alone, more than that I feel bad for always trying to find someone but I never really care for nobody! I wonder what's wrong with me!

BIG hug, Byechoc!  I know the feeling of being alone in a crowd, now.  And my heart goes out to you.  I even tried a vacation (after Rick died) to the Mayan peninsula and what a waste of dough that was seeing all the couples, etc.  Something tells me that you're ready to find someone to enjoy life with.  Don't ask me why, but when you put out a sentence or thought to the cosmos, strange and miraculous things happen.    flower

Shaking. Someone Just killed a man in front of my building, he should be around 23, was shot by eight shots. It's horrible trying to sleep .. Brazil changed an impossible place to live. It is the second assault within a few months in front of my building. The last the boy came with his girlfriend, the robbers demanded the car and when he left the car to flee from another attack and they shot the girl ran and shots not reached, but he died, Echo and the desperate cries of her yet are in my ears. Here is now midnight and fifteen minutes, the police are here, but by this time tomorrow we'll have no security and police again without, even being an upper middle class neighborhood, as always, this is living in the Third World. The girl who works in my house is shaking and terrified, she certainly will not get to sleep tonight. Every day our lives are at risk, a risk that we do not have hospitals, risk we no have safety, I want to see when the people will endure all that, endure so much money going to foreign banks while we have nothing, no dignity Or the right to life...
