I like the fact that Alice was christened Victoria Alice. This is the only time I have seen her very first name as Victoria.

Did Princess Alice meet Prince Andrew of Greece before the 1902 Coronation of King Edward VII?

Lady Pamela Hicks, Princess Alice's niece, recalled just how smitten Alice was with Prince Andrew of Greece. "Alice was absolutely dotty about him," expressed Pamela. "Really, deeply in love."   loveshower loveshower

She had really bad luck with almost everything, including her mental health.

Princess Alice in 1908 traveled to Russia to attend the wedding of her husband Andrew's niece, Grand Duchess Maria of Russia, to Prince William of Sweden. Here Alice spent time with her aunt, Grand Duchess Elizabeth Feodorovna, who she had always been very close to.

^ Princess Alice was attractive.

Even though she had bad luck throughout her life I consider that she was very interesting.

It was also very good that she got her wish to be buried in Jerusalem.

Yes, her family were very startled by her wish. She brushed it off and told them that her chosen burial locale had 'a very good bus service!'
