No offense intended, Fernanda, but you can choose to not be run over by a car, too.

I understand your point, that it is up to we, the people, to choose our battles, but, some battles need our attention or our moral integrity is lost.

I choose to pay attention to the world around, the good and the bad. I think it is our duty as humans to do so, we should all pay attention.

Kate is important to my country even though I wish she wasn't. She will from now on be funded by my hard earned cash and she will shape the future of the monarchy and the country. Whether she does a good job or not depends on whether there will be a Monarchy along with William too of course.

Yes, in practice I have no say on who William marries but being as his choice in Wife will determine the course of the Royal Family so I pay attention.

As for bringing out the worst in me, it does not effect my job or my family life and is only on my mind when I am on here. I vent, breath, then get on with my life. Which I think is a good balance.

Can you imagine a time when the truth ran free ...

^^^ Yes, I agree. ... Yet the two seem to pop into my head occasionally when I hear music that is applicable to their life story.  Awful, I know, but I cannot help that when raunchy comes on the radio they appear in my minds eye and I have to turn the station. Funny how love songs never trigger a thought of them!

And Yoopers, I agree. You said it better than I ever could ... The heart of the matter is moral integrity and truth!  Kiss
