Very great lady indeed.  Sweden's loss and the Royal Family's.  May she now RIP with her beloved Prince Bertil.

In a way it makes sense, Lillian was the Sofia of her time. Some jewels go to Victoria though.

Wow her life should be made into a mini-series. It was quite colorful.

I wonder why how they met is shrouded with so many discrepencies?

Was she trying to cover her somewhat colorful past.

I enjoyed reading her life story though, it would make a great book.

She wrote a bio and there are a couple of books about her but I suppose that only in swedish

Oh good, I'm going to pick one up next time I go to Norway and practice translating the words from Swedish to English.

I saw her on Norwegian magazines and on tv a lot when I was in Norway, but I didn't really research her, now I will.
