I am glad/hope there isn't a rift between Charles and Andrew. They're grown men, too old to be fighting.

HM is 90 now, and could live another 10+ years, like her mother. Maybe they're planning to have her children all retire when she passes, with the exception of Charles?

Air miles Andy up to his old tricks: Prince Andrew's helicopter jaunt costs you £3,000

THE Duke of York took a helicopter flight costing the taxpayer thousands of pounds to a royal engagement just seven miles away from Sandringham – despite planning to spend Christmas there in a fortnight’s time.

I think he's never had to pay for anything so he has no idea how much things cost. Very out of touch.  thumbsdown

Andrew paid the lease on Royal Lodge for 75 years so he will have lodgings for the rest of his life and for most, if not all, of his daughters' lives.

The helicopter story is a beat-up.

All the royals use helicopters all over the country for a range of engagements and many of them will be near a royal home or be close to where they will be for some other reason or other within a couple of weeks. This is just another '*despise* on Andrew' story probably as he has called out the media for the stories about his family in recent weeks.
