Yes, Gui and Stephanie stated, at the time of their engagement I think, that they wouldn't be starting a family for the first three years of their marriage. It seems they've kept to that and their first child could be born next year.

But they come from big families and I'm sure they expected children. So must be hard to bear not being able to have them.

Prince Louis and Princess Tessy of Luxembourg are granted a 'quickie' divorce in London because of his unreasonable behaviour
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4235098/Prince-Louis-Princess-Tessy-Luxembourg-divorce.html#ixzz4ZG3S8f2n

I hope she loses her princess status and he moves on. He gave up his place in the succession for her sake and she was never any kind of innocent. Her husband's family paid for her education (I don't think she was so well off at nineteen that she could pay her own way) and supported her while she studied.

Instead of either making the best of a comfortable drama free marriage while having royal status in a country that grovels to titles, she prefers to give the middle finger to her husband and his family and their generosity and now suddenly she's eager for single life and independence. So much for the fairy-tale.

We don't know what ended this marriage or whether it was a mutual decision in the end even though it was  Tessy who applied for it. The phrase 'unreasonable behaviour' is the UK equivalent of 'irreconcilable differences', just legal terminology.

This couple were very young when they wed, and they may well have had family pressure to marry because babies were being produced. It wasn't really clear at the time what title Tessy would get in the run-up to the wedding, as far as I remember..

Anyway, Tessy has lost her Royal title. She's now probably Mrs Nassau or something. It's not specifically a rule aimed at Tessy, but is the result of a shakeup of the Luxembourg House rules in 2012 when it was decreed that any wife of a minor Royal (not Grand Duchess or wife of the heir) would lose her title/styling on divorce.

Prince Louis and soon-to-be ex-wife Tessy's divorce is getting bad.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/10/14/princess-branded-gold-digger-takes-divorce-uk-court/

That's really sad but I do wonder why she keeps asking for more $$$. Her sons will always be taken care of (they are Lux princes and the Grand-Duke grandsons) and Tessy has a job. Wanting more money makes her look like a gold digger. thumbsdown

Her behaviour on Instagram was also quite weird these last months. She kept posting veiled allusions to her marriage, even comparing hers to Charles and Diana's  easter-sly but simultaneously saying how she loved Louis. She also criticised 'gossiping girls' chatting about her still being a Princess and posted pictures of her in various tiaras, asking her followers which one suited her best.
All of this contrats with her behaviour during her tenure as a Lux princess.
