In French, 'blond' is masculine and 'blonde' is feminine. I always easter-lol to myself when I see "blonde man" because it sounds like he is wearing a Hannah Montana wig or flowers in his hair or something.

And then when I see a man talk about his 'fiancé' or a woman talk about her 'fiancée', I go like  blink for a second because I saw the engagement photos, and they are marrying someone of the opposite sex.

^^ That's still the rule in English too (taking after the French), it's just ignored by most English speakers it seems... Like many a grammar rule!!

Because we have a big ol’ snow storm, comfort food here.  Corned beef brisket w/cabbage, potatoes, whole onions, carrots, cooked in wine sauce.  Yummmmm!  It was a sons-suddenly-stopped-by magnet.   easter-lol

A home made salad with chicken with Epicure seasoning.  I love Epicure products.  Also love making my own dishes! I think my fiance and I only eat out maybe five times a year, take-in delivery also maybe five times a year.

Home Made chicken and vegetable broth for breakfast. With a little grated Parmesan.

You can tell I’ve got a bad chest infection when I have this. All those lovely vitamins and Hauser broth. (Named after the famous Gaylord Hauser who inspired Greta Garbo et al in the 1930’s and beyond.

Excuse me while I make yummy noises.
