Sounds like the normal kind of upbringing of Royal children fifty to sixty years ago. Frederik of Denmark for example recalled he and his brother not eating with their parents until they were quite old. It's more likely to have been Rainier rather than Grace who laid down those sort of rules. Rainier himself had an English nanny and went away to an English boarding school when he was quite young.
