I'm so excited to see Caroline attending the Grand Ducal wedding of Luxembourg.  I hope she wears one of the illustrious Hanover tiaras or perhaps her own: http://download.rtl.lu/2012/10/11/9ae754bc854e10ce0204977a5ee1493c.pdf  (She is listed as SAR la Princesse de Hanovre/HRH the Princess of Hanover.)

European Court rules that photos of Princess Caroline on holiday did not breach her privacy

Princess Caroline of Monaco lost another stage in her battle with the German press when the Fifth Section chamber of the European Court of Human Rights rejected her complaint about a magazine's use of a photograph of her and her husband on holiday.

The Princess, who has lodged a number of applications with the Strasbourg Court, had complained that the German courts had refused to grant an injunction banning further publication of a photograph of her and her husband, Prince Ernst August von Hannover, which was taken without their knowledge while they were on holiday.

It had appeared in in the magazine 7 Tage on 20 March, 2002, and showed the couple on holiday at an unidentifiable location.

That page and following pages of the magazine also carried several photographs of the von Hannover holiday home, which illustrated an article saying it had become a custom among celebrities to let out their holiday homes, and describing the family's villa, giving details of furnishings, the daily rental cost, and holiday pastimes.

A small box inserted in the text contained two sentences in bold type reading: "The rich and beautiful are also thrifty. Many of them let out their villas to paying guests".

In November 2004, the Princess launched legal action in the German courts seeking an injunction against any further publication of the photograph of her and her husband, which led to a number of hearings and appeals in the German courts.

In July 2008, after proceedings in Germany's Federal Constitutional Court, the Federal Court of Justice dismissed Princess Caroline's appeal on points of law, finding that she was a public figure and that, while the photograph did not relate to a subject of general interest, the freedom of expression of the magazine's publishers should not be overridden by her right to respect for her private life.

I wonder how Princess Caroline feels about this; two kids are now in front of her in regards to the succession and I do notice that Albert has made it clear that Caroline will no longer dominate family photos and pull any stunts like walking ahead of Charlene and Albert at the Red Cross Ball.

I am sure she quite doesn't like it one bit. Hats off to Albert for dealing with her. She needed to be put in her place.

Caroline always struck me as a judgmental jerk who needed to be put in her place, the snob. Grace should have smacked her daughter for whipping flowers at a baby (Albert) and as for Junot, he seemed like a nice guy (worked hard and had stakes in successful business ventures and was part of the French upper middle class), but blew that chance and then married Stefano, but then lost him, then proceeded to steal a man because he was titled (from someone who was supposed to be a friend). I for one sincerely believe that it's been long overdue and Caroline should have been replaced by a second wife via Rainier a long time ago. A new wife and more siblings would have put Caroline in a secondary position a long time ago.

My dear Kuei!
Sorry but your statement reminds me of my days as a girl in my youth back in the 1970ies. When I was young I had to attend my mother when she went to the hairdresser and sadly for the pauses, he offered only two kinds of magacines for his customers -first for the ladies and last for the gents kindly to say.
Due to my age it wasn't allowed for me to read the gentlemens mags either (you might guess what kind they were) so bored I browsed -what else- these for the ladies.
What I remember the tabloids had two hot spots at that time. Firstly -one lady who is completely forgotten today- Tina Onassis (the stepdaughter af Jacquie) and secondly Caroline of Monaco. The British royals were treated with way more respect at that time (may be with the exception of Andrews affair with Koo Stark).
To come to the point, your criticism is simply a fresh up of that of the tabloids back then. I wish you would judge her more fairly. She had a hard and disappointing life so or so.

Hard? Many lose their mothers at young ages and many have divorces. Yet, few have huge bank accounts and are princesses. As for disappointed, well, she did a lot of that to herself. When she was young and had titled men interested, she bypassed them for jerks; then the titled men were married so she broke up a marriage to get one.

it's true, she made many mistakes, and still she can't deal with the fate not having become reigning Princess of Monaco. At least Cassiraghi was quite the opposite of a jerk like Junot (who only married her to win a bed for a bet!), but repeating all times the same old boring tabloid prejudices about her doesn't bring news into her troubled history.
Sorry!
