Well I hope that not too many of the dresses in the shop are ruined!

But X-Mas_rolleyes at him going to a bridal shop, bit obvious.

hihi
Now that's what we in Belgium call :een steek onder water, literally a pinch under water.
Seeing him standing next to those ruined dresses sure gives me the impression that he doesn't completely agrees with the thing his son is doing..
As if to say 'see, this is how it might end up if you continue with this...ruined!'

Or maybe it's just a coincidence that he happened to visit a bridal shop after the floods, who knows.. dontknow (of course it was the only shop that had been damaged by the floods, sure.. hall-whistle X-Mas_rolleyes)

Pity Kate couldn't go and visit to provide support, would be a perfect pre-marriage engagement. She could go with Charles and deal with riding with a man she's bashed relentlessly, oh to be a fly on that wall.

I think his distracted reaction to the questions about how he feels and the bit snarky "Well they've been practicing long enough" says everything about his true feelings towards his sons engagement, imo. And I agree with him 100%!

How about developing a fiscally responsible social services network and building habitable orphanages for these Eco-communities? "built environment" doesn't necessarily mean only architectural structures!  Philanthropy, which meets the needs of the people at hand, and isn't all about the donors ego, melts my heart!  Kiss

The other day I was watching a programme about English traditional cheeses (don't laugh  Tongue) and when they asked a farmer who had helped them to keep doing cheeses the old way she said that it was Prince Charles!

And in his web:

Quote
Specialist Cheesemakers Initiative

The Specialist Cheesemakers Initiative was started to help those making specialist cheeses in the UK.

The Prince is Patron of the Specialist Cheesemakers Association and wanted to enhance the understanding of the difficulties encountered by cheese-makers in meeting food safety standards while making good quality cheese.

It was hoped that by having practical experience and appreciation of the cheese-making process, environmental health officers will be able to help the cheese-makers develop strategies to overcome their difficulties and to ensure the safety of their end-product.

The course, which lasts for three days, highlights the practicalities of handling liquid milk, curds, whey and cheese and the key safety and hygiene practices which need to be applied.  As well as the practical cheese-making sessions, there is also a series of lectures and workshops addressing the theoretical issues and exploring the food safety management issues.

To date, 120 officers from 77 different local authorities have attended one of the ten courses run since November 2000.  Courses are limited to twelve participants, all of whom are selected and invited by the Food Standards Agency.

Many of the participants come from small, rural local authorities based in areas where farmers are seizing the opportunity to diversify into speciality cheese-making, but are in need of a great deal of guidance on meeting food safety standards.

The course is evaluated each time it is run and the majority of participants have considered it to be “excellent”.
