The Gloucesters-The Duke and Prince William

I think Her Majesty looked wonderful in the pale mint coloured suit and hat and the sun even came out for the float. Prince Philip looked chipper as well-the wee ones climbing the tree to see them was a great shot. Wish the DM would show more articles focused on HM's tour events as it is her jubilee year instead of some of the other non-news that they sometimes choose for upper page. Thanks Alexandrine for posting the Getty link for the coverage of it  flower

LONDON -- Queen Sofia of Spain has reportedly decided not to attend a lunch celebrating Britain's Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee on Friday because of a diplomatic spat over Gibraltar.

Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy earlier this year raised Madrid's long-standing demand for the return of Gibraltar -- a British territory on the Mediterranean Sea -- during talks with U.K. counterpart David Cameron.

The Queen ,as always,is a bright spot on that dreary day. Tho' she didn't exactly have the "Why have we never done this before? We MUST do this again soon!" look on her face! God bless her! I do not envy her appointment schedule, she must be a waste by bedtime. She is 86 yrs old,has 60 yrs of Service to Her Queendom,She never calls in sick, and 90% of the time, has a lovely smile. She is amazing. She has a huge fan-base here in the USA. WE love Love LOVE Her!!

'snort' when I saw that title I was having a image in my mind of Harry all hippie and flower-power with a tie dyed bandanna around his head and some purple tint glasses, rattling that tambourine, groovy man! laugh
But the song is pretty neat, al those different influences and voices coming together, sounds nice! thumbsup
