David Armstrong-Jones now has the title of 2nd Earl of Snowdon. His son Charles now has the title of Viscount Linley.

By tradition they don't use their new titles until after the funeral.

It was sad to read that he has passed.  My condolences to his family.  I thought he was a very good photographer and IMHO took quite a few iconic pictures of the BRF.

RIP

Antony was educated at Cambridge. Architecture was the subject he had chosen for his degree. However he developed an interest in photography.

David, 2nd Earl of Snowdon, as as grandchild of a king through a daughter, is a non-Royal Highness. He has the style and titles related to his noble father Antony, 1st Earl of Snowdon, not his royal mother, Princess Margaret.

Memorial today for Lord Snowdon.  Bill medd their but not sign of council cath.  It never ceases to amaze me how much better he is without her around.  Queen looked lovely in purple.

David Armstrong-Jones declared that his father believed that he (Antony) was a failure.
How could Antony be a failure when his photographs are superb?
