sad..   She had battle cancer for 6 years and same thing my mom had battle for 6 years...

It is really sad, hopefully she was able to find peace in the end and that John mourns respectfully for a while before jumping into anything new... bignono

Having read her thoroughly remarkable book and watching her dignity and spirit throughout all of this is quite a legacy she has left her children.  Having a husband die of cancer that spread to the liver, I am glad that she went as quickly as she did.  It is just more than sad.  We lost a fine lady.  A tough one, but gutty in all the right ways.
