Countess Alexandra and her husbond arriving.

She is wearing a beautifull red dress that the commentators think is gorgeous.

And then the Rosenborg twins. Another line of the royal family.

Not all of them are wow (the pink and yellow thing is painful on the eyes and some of the flower motives are a bit wild imo)
But in general flashy colours fit her well.

I think her clothes are never dull! Sometimes she nails it especially for night events but she can look ridiculous too. However, she has grown on me and I prefer her over the supposedly classic elegance of Silvia or Sofia.

I like Mary's dress and cape, it's a bit boring but very pretty. Alexandra's is awful, but the tiara is so lovely.

Margrethe looked good but I prefer her birthday look.

Funny that Silvia and Sonja wore nearly the same colour! And is Marie Chantal pregnant or just fat?

Your welcome Alexandrine hug

I think CP Mary's cape is a bit medieval.

More videos appear as the events take place. See The Queen talking to the guest and CP Frederik and Mary mingling. And Countess Alexandra at the escalator together with Marie Chantal.

Designer Jesper Høvring opinions:

Thinks that CP Mary had a black dress on that she had also worn in 2008.

Minister Margrethe Vestager has a beautifull dress in lilac with a big green bow on the front.

The swedish and norwegien was wearing the same fucsia red colour. Especially the norwegien Queen had wonderfull big sleeves down to the floor.

Countess Alexandra dressed in very great laces.

Designer Jesper Høvring opinions:

The latest dresses is very the same. Big skirts and with a slim waist.

But the dresses in the eighties was more special with assymetric and big sleeves.

The flowery raincoat is made of a tablecloth. The Queen wanted a raincoat that people coul see from a long distance.

The Rosenborg twins (Camilla and Josephine) opinions:

The raincoat is Horribly. They never themselves follow fashion. Josephine (or Camilla) tells that she at a galla event picked up her dress 5 minutes before the party. Green and yellow. But it was the wrong dress and she had no choice but to wear it. And she ended up at the worst dressed list that year. Another time she wore a yellow and blackdress and was referred to as a bumblebie.

I'm totally with you about this one Alexandrine. That Queen seems to genuinely enjoy her position and when I look at her dresses I think she would do fine in Disney fairy tale movie.  tehe I won't wear what she wears but at least she makes me dream dancing with big and original gowns  flirt

CP Frederik and Mary arrives at the church together with the norwegian CP Couple. Mette-Marit looks very slim.
The 2 couples have a very near relation according to Anna von Lowzow.

I've watched all the videos!

It was so cute when Isabella only wanted to sit with her parents, she was like no way I'm going to sit in the second row  tehe But I thought that Joachim could have let her sit in his chair.  dontknow

Can you tell me what kind of tiara is Marie Chantal using today? In the photo of the dr.dk seems to be a fringe but I'm not sure, thanks!  loveshower

I'm not sure what a fringe is.

But it looked like the biggest tiara I've seen. Anna von Lowsow - expert in royal juwels - didn't mention it even if she mentioned a lot of the others.

I don't think Joachim would give up his seat for anyone. He is very oldfashioned compared to a danish point of view. He has par example said that it is crusial to him to get a son because he want to see his line continue. And in another case he has said it was very important that he some years ago was appointed count de la borde de montpezat, because he then also could see that he had a father. Quite ridicolous as his father never was count de la borde de montpezat. Someone in the family would have been a count if certain papers were signed but they weren't -  and even if they had been signed the line that the Princeconsort Henri de la borde de montpezat belongs to, would never have been counts - according to the Princeconsorts own biography.

Isabella is a cutie. She really liked sitting on her fathers lap. She is known to be a tom boy. The commentators made a joke about Isabella had to sit by her parents.

It's Queen Sophie tiara!!! And it had not been seen since Queen Fredericke had died, I thought that we would never see that tiara again.

Can you post the link to this night gala? Or is it not already posted?

I know that about Joachim, he sounds like a snob. And the monpezat thing is kinda ridiculous  bored3

Fringe: is like a pyramid, it's the type that Benedikte is wearing today and Marie Chantal's yesterday tiara.
